The resort is situated at a very nice location. Very safe, pleasant and peaceful place and very friendly staff specially Mr Vishnu at the reception counter was very nice and helping guy. I would definitely recommend others to stay at tea nest resort.

Wonderful place set in sone colonial style in the midst of one of the largest teas estates in South India. Great service by Vishnu , Sekhar and Prakash and they helped us through out making sure we were comfortable. The room ( Lemon Grass ) was well appointed and comfortable for three of us .... we were there for hardly 12 hours , just to sleep ...so missed the estate walk and the breakfast next day.....no complaints as they made sure we had some packed breakfast for our onward journey. Our Dinner the previous night was sumptuous as well. They have a well maintained garden area with all kind of exotic plants, flowers that perhaps only grow in such places. If you are in this area, i would highly recommend this place...secluded, away from all the noise and about 15 minutes by auto to the Railway station where you get the opportunity to ride the Toy Train to Ooty or to Mettupalayam. Since we were missing our free breakfast , we asked if we could instead get a discount for the dinner previous night...unfortunately that was declined. I would still rate it 5

My first solo vacation and I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. It was just the place I was looking for, beautiful, wonderful views around and far from the city hustle and bustle. I stayed for 2 nights at the room called Golden Tips. It's one of the rooms within the main building and very comfortable. Breakfast was included in my stay and had a wonderful hot spread on both days. Lunch, I was out, hence didn't have. Dinner again was at the resort and since they make everything fresh, they take orders by evening 6/6.30. Loved the home cooked feel. I booked cabs on both days from the resort itself. Vishnu helped me here a lot. The staffs at the property are courteous and very helpful. When I reached on 9th March morning, Vishnu was at the reception and he really made me feel welcome till the time my room was getting ready. I even ended up hurting my leg on the very first day ( careless of me!). Ranjit and David made sure I got a Volini spray and a crepe bandage. And I have to thank Raghu for clicking my pictures in the tea garden right across the road. I would surely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and a wonderful stay in Coonoor.

Such a delightful place in a stunningly beautiful area. It’s set in a tea plantation so lush and green The place itself is decorated with many pot plants and hanging baskets There are complimentary morning bird spotting and evening plantation walks The food was excellent and staff helpful I particularly liked the option of trying the different teas having learned all about tea production after a visit to a nearby factory You can order a pot full from a menu and sip it slowly either outside your room or in the communal area.

Thank you Teanest! Wonderful stay with clean and extremely well kept property! The rooms were spacious for 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) with excellent service from Vishnu, Jayashree, Raghu, Prakash, Ranjit, David and Rajkumar! Highly recommend!
