Logis Hôtel Emeraude

Everything and everyone were great at the Hôtel Emeraude. We were welcomed warmly, told where the room was which was bright and spacious and had air-con which was a bonus as it was a hot day. We were advised on where to park, breakfast and dining options. The area around the hotel is gorgeous and there is a lovely view on the lake from the terrace where we had dinner. I wouldhappily stay there again.

Perfect stay ,so grateful to you all. Oh my word!!! Some of the loveliest staff and friendly Locals you will ever meet. We had a vehicle problem. If we had needed to, the Hotel was happy to keep it safe for us until we had it collected days later. Restaurant food was outstanding, starter was the best I have eaten this Holiday. Cafe area was warm and welcoming. Just a perfect stay in a lovely town. Thank you

Lovely clean comfortable room .

The location of the hotel could not be better: right in the centre of town, with plenty of free parking and amenities around, and overlooking the river Vienne. Don't be put off by the somewhat brusque demeanour of the hotel owner; he warms up gradually and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The room was cozy, the bed clean and comfortable and the bathroom, again very clean, offered good facilities including a hot shower. The room had TV and good wifi but unfortunately no coffee/tea making facilities. The restaurant is an underrated gem. It offers a range of food from pizzas and chips to more sophisticated French dishes of consistently good quality. The roast vegetables were delicious and the potatoes gratin were the lightest and fluffiest we have ever tasted. The tuna steaks were outstanding. The ginger roast apple with shortbread and mousse was beautiful. It accommodates people with food intolerances (no dairy or egg in the mousse!). We would argue it is the best restaurant in the area, outperforming even (the posh) l'Estaminet in nearby Esse. We will definitely stay (and eat!) here again when we're in the area.
