Con Dao Resort

We went with a large group on a recommendation from a family friend who has stayed here before. The hotel offers free shuttle service to and from the airport so make sure you contact them to confirm pickup time if they do not contact you to arrange for pickup at the airport. Every room has either a nice tropical view or ocean view so you will not be disappointed. The hotel has free breakfast in the morning that changes each day including Western and Vietnamese cuisines and eggs are made to order. The hotel has a white sand beach in front of the property and it is a short walk away from many inexpensive restaurant options down the street. The hotel's restaurant offers lunch and dinner. The food and drinks are priced higher than nearby restaurants, but is decent quality. The pool on site is a nice amenity to have to help cool down. The hotel also offers free small daily water bottles, but I would recommend stocking up for cheap at a nearby shop. We had never rented a scooter before, but since much of the island's roads are very well maintained and sparsely travelled we though it would be perfect to try one. The hotel can has an office where you can rent scooters cheaply, but our friends negotiated 120,000 VND a day with a kind gentleman across the street. This helped us quickly access a nearby temple, get to other beaches on the island, the national park and the harbour for a snorkeling tour. The hotel's shower pressure is wanting and do not be surprised if you see a gecko or small ants in your room. They are harmless and common in this area. That being said, do not leave food out or something might get in it.

Great facilities but they neglect the beach with the argument that it is a public beach. They do care about the gardens , that vietnamese people uses to take hundreds of photos but apart of it they really do not care. No life guard on duty in the swimming pool. Nobody to tell you were to get beach towels and really difficult to communicate even at the reception. The resort is prepared for vietnamese people that stay in the hotel one night or two but not prepared at all for international travellers that do not speak vietnamese. The room was comfortable and clean but that was all.

Très bien situé, bien équipé et confortable. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très varié, mais exclusivement asiatique. L’hôtel propose également un service de tour operator, mais pas fiable : un tour commandé le matin pour le lendemain, confirmé l’après-midi, a été simplement oublié le matin du départ, et sans aucune excuse.

Yên tĩnh, biển đẹp, khu tâm linh và chữa lành vết thương tâm hồn, tôi năm nào cũng ra để nghỉ dưỡng và thắp hương cho mộ cô Sáu và các chiến sĩ, đồ ăn ngon nhưng hơi mắc hơn trong vũng tàu, chắc do hải sản đưa từ vũng tàu vào nên chi phi cao hơn, nhưng rất tươi.
