Lovelly long weekend at the Bakehouse. Hosts Fiona and Steve are warm and welcoming hosts who are always on hand to offer advice about the local area and things to do. They provide an excellent tailor made breakfast to order and the rooms are of a very high standard. Would recommend and will definitely return!

The self-catering cottage at The Old Bakehouse has a calm and peaceful feel, perfect for a relaxing break. Its location in lovely Colyton is ideal for walks, pubs and coffee spots. The cottage has everything you could need, beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. Generous and delightful gifts on arrival, such as milk, wine, chocolates (vegan options as well as dairy as the owners were aware of our dietary requirements). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

If you are considering a short stay in or around Lyme Regis then look no further. The room was excellent - clean and comfortable with a great breakfast. Steve and Fiona are wonderful hosts and make you feel completely at home, I can not speak more highly of our experience with them. Competitively priced in a village that is beautiful. We shall return, no doubt about it.

Lovely cottage in picturesque village with fantastic hosts! The cottage has a great open fire and balcony. Was perfect for our family of four mountain biking holiday. Charming upside down cottage and very friendly pubs and shops in the village. The scenery in the area is beautiful and there’s easy access to the seafront at Seaton and Sidmouth. The beach at Braunscombe is a great secluded spot and well worth a day trip!

Perfect, lovely rooms, outstanding breakfast and wonderful hosts. Plenty of parking within a very short walk, a good pub with great food close by, lovely quite town. One of the best bed & breakfasts we have stayed in, and we have stayed in lots.

Excellent host room had all the necessary facilities and breakfast really good mainly with local produce very accommodating to personal preferences couldn’t want for anything better thoroughly recommend it. Nice village to wander round the church is worth a visit.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful quirky upside down cottage. The hosts Steve and Fiona are so welcoming and friendly and did everything to make sure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be returning and recommending the cottage to our friends and family x

A lovely friendly welcome very clean comfortable with a delicious breakfast. We will definitely visit again and next time will stay for a longer time. We came to Colyton so that we could use the Tramway to Seaton and back which was lovely - really recommend

We really enjoyed our break at the Old Bakehouse in early March, and the friendly owners Steve and Fiona couldn’t be more welcoming. The freshly painted rooms are spotlessly clean as well as cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a good range of options. Being big fans of vinyl records, we really appreciated the opportunity to browse through the wide selection and choose what to play. The B&B is in the heart of Colyton, near pubs and shops, and we found it to be a great base to explore the Jurassic coast. We highly recommend!
