Bryn Coed Guest House

Very friendly Proprietors, made us feel very welcome. Nicely cooked breakfast and asked us if we needed extra milk in our rooms and gave us more which was nice. I'm gluten free and Diane offered to get some bread for me to accommodate me which was lovely. The person I was supporting on holiday loved this place and really liked the proprietors who were so friendly and warm. It made his stay a memorable one. He loved the fish tanks and having his little chats and they gave him lots of time which was so nice. We will be co.ing back, no doubt :)

This is my second time staying here and I absolutely love it. It most definitely feels like home and the hosts, Chris & Diane, are so friendly and welcoming. Anything you need, just ask and they'll be happy to help. The rooms are so cosy and very clean. The bed was comfortable and although I'm a light sleeper, I can honestly I slept very well. Their little garden is so colourful and neat with shrubs, planters and pots full of fragrant flowers. The dining area has a small but well presented bar which is very reasonably priced. We particularly liked sitting and chatting here with a nightcap....or three! Breakfast is fabulous and really sets you up for the day. There's a huge selection on the menu, which you fill in every day for the next day. I love tinned tomatoes on toast, which isn't on the menu but Diane was happy to make this for me on a couple of occasions. It was my husband's birthday whilst we were here this time and Diane went to the trouble of getting him a birthday card....what a lovely thing to do. Situated at around a 10 minute walk from the railway station, Bryn Coed Guest House is a great base for all of the nearby touristy towns. Llandudno, Caernarfon and Conwy were a must for us. There are also more hidden gems to explore nearby, such as pretty villages with beautiful views of the bays and mountains...just talk to the locals. It's also around a 10 minute walk to the beach at Colwyn Bay. I love the promenade walk to Rhos-on-Sea and back, which we did most days. To sum up, you'll arrive at this cute little guest house as strangers, but you'll be going home as friends. No wonder they have many repeat guests....we'll be back, that's for sure.

Really nice overnight stay. Room was clean, comfy and well equipped, kettle tea coffee, hair drier etc. Landlady was wonderful and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Bathroom had bath and shower and towels mini toiletries provided. Full cooked breakfast (all inclusive and very reasonable price) was amazing and I’d definitely recommend here as a base if touring North Wales.

Great position in a quiet street up a small hill. Easy access to public transport. Clean room with very comfortable beds. A nice touch was the robes provided as we had a private but separate bathroom not ensuite. Breakfast was a real treat beautifully cooked and very tasty. Diane was very welcoming and friendly nothing too much trouble. Recommended.

Made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Easy parking and easy check in and the room was spacious, clean and inviting. With the bonus of a sea view. The beds were comfortable and we had an on suite that was well stocked, clean and spacious. Proprietors Diane and Chris were lovely and could do enough for you. The breakfast had plenty of choices and was filling and tasty. It is a short walk to the shops and beach but the guest house is on a quiet road so no disturbances through the night. Highly recommended. I took my mother and teenage daughter and we had a lovely short break away.

Last minute booking for short stay. Diane & Chris were friendly & helpful with ideas for places to eat. Room was nice & clean (good shower) - the photos don't do the rooms justice (we caught a peek of another vacant room) & the breakfast was lovely too. The only way it could have been improved was with pot of tea instead of mugs, but that's just a picky personal preference. One of us has special dietary needs & Di phoned to check whether she needed to buy in anything special for breakfast. Absolute star. Guest house is a couple of minutes walk uphill from the main street & obviously doesn't have a lift (it's a guest house!) if you have serious health / mobility problems, but then everywhere is uphill from the centre. It is 5 mins from railway / bus stop if you want to be green - plus it's probably cheaper than parking costs in some of the other coastal resorts & a lovely route. 5-10 mins (max) to sea front. On street parking is good (wide safe street) & a real bonus in the town.

Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay, Diane was very welcoming and lovely the room was very clean and tidy and very comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant would Definitely recommend a stay here.

Absolutely excellent stay.So friendly.Beautiful room.Very clean.Comfy bed.Lovely bathroom en suite..Excellent breakfast.Nothing too much trouble.Beatiful gardens which had the sun..Ideally situated for all Colywyn Bays amenities and for site seeing in North Wales.The owners Diane and Chris are absolutely lovely.
