HORRIBLE STAY!!!! Negative stars if I could. This is for check in 6/11/2024 and check out 6/12/2024. We arrived there around 12:30 AM they would not let me use the credit card in my name with ID because the reservation was in my husband’s name because he is the 24 year Diamond Choice Member and the reservation had to be under his name to get the points. I found out from customer service @ 2:00AM they could have. Taken my credit card with ID with him there. Then it took forever for his card to work. When we get into the room and start getting the sofa sleeper pulled out it has DIRTY NASTY sheets. Crumbs and stains. not to mention the bathroom smelled like sewage. I marched out to the front desk to inform the desk clerk. He said “Can I see?” My response was, “ You most certainly you can.” What was I going to say, no? The desk clerk changes our room and gives us 2 queen (like he was doing us a favor). My husband said no because of my shoulder injury and all of the pillows needed we needed a king. That's what we paid for. We ended up settling for the 2 queen because it was taking so long. I saw on the website they still had kings available. I really don’t know what his problem was. 2nd room. This one had someone else's shirt left in the drawer. The sofa bed was not made. No linens in the room. At this point I question how clean the room really is. this one also smells like sewage. Again I marched out to the desk. I have to say at this point I am not happy at all. While he is dealing with my husband I am calling customer service. The desk clerk brought linens and handed them my son. Now we have paid for a room that was not what we paid for and we have to make the bed ourselves at 2:00AM. I won't take my shoes off and walk on the floor. I don’t trust to take a shower. I did not want to go pee because of the smell. Then my husband saw peanuts on the floor near the bed I was on and said the floors had not been vacuumed. He also said the exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working at all. He tested it (this is his job). The awful smell is probably mold we were smelling. We got to bed about 3:00AM and a much later start for the next long day of travel. Checking out. The Assistant manager was there and I gave her an ear full. Her response was, I will let the general manager know and have a talk with the desk clerk from the night before. She stated the general manager would call me within the next couple of days. We are at 7/6/2024 and NO CALL. Choice customer service said we would get a call from the general manager. Again and still no call. My next call is to the health department. If they do not have enough respect to call their customers back at address the problems I guess customers will have to address the problems them selves. My husband has been a Diamond member for 24 years and has NEVER experienced this before. Came down for soccer tournaments. Elevator was down, they had technical difficulties with computer systems, but they were very courtoeus and checked us in manually. Breakfast was decent, didn't check the pool. Rooms were comfortable. Very clean rooms and bathroom. Location was difficult to find.

Brand new rooms. Super nice. Quiet area with plenty of food nearby. Front desk ladies were very very nice. Breakfast was good. I travel for work and stay in a lot of hotels. It was nice to stay in a brand new room. It was so new, the phones or alarm clocks weren’t in there yet

I booked this hotel because it was close to where I needed to be and also inexpensive. I am pretty no-frills, and didn't want something luxurious. But I do expect a hotel room at a minimum to be clean, and this place is disgusting. There are stains on the walls, something so sticky inside one of the nightstands that a brochure was permanently stuck to it, mold in the freezer, and an actual cockroach crawling around. I was horrified, and when I showed the photo of the bug to the staff, they offered me an $8 discount. Eight dollars. I respectfully insisted this was not nearly enough, and was told that this discount percentage was all the manager allowed her to give, and the manager wasn't there for her to ask for more. She told me she would have the manager call me to work out an additional refund over the phone, but three days later I have not heard anything. So, not only gross, but disingenuous. Avoid.

Nice big room! Very quiet. Metnour request for specific room location. Elizabeth was very helpful !!! Had free breakfast as well Right off highway which is very nice when traveling long distance. Hotel is undergoing renovations but we didn’t experience any problems with that

The hotel is under going an update and looks like it will be even nicer. But it is still a nice hotel. Also has plenty of truck parking. Elizabeth at the front desk is very nice and helpful. Enjoyed my stay.

Room and bathroom was very clean and neat Front desk Elizabeth was very professional and sweet! Breakfast was delicious! Stayed for one night and slept great. Plenty of space for truck parking! If I'm ever in town again, I'll definitely book comfort inn Columbus

This hotel should not even be approved to operate: dirty lobby, dirty room, staff smoking in front of the entrance, loud elevator, terrible breakfast, terrible environment. Stay away for your safety.

The hotel room was disgusting - the bed was barely made and when we checked the mattress pad was a queen size on a king size bed. To make matters worse the cover on the mattress was moldy - not just in one spot but on both sides and for a good 12 inch section. The desk chair was shredded, the bathroom was dirty and the room was musty. We did not stay! This was a huge disappointment - we have stayed at various Choice Hotels and Comfort Inns and have always been pleased with the quality. We should have noticed something was not quite right when there was only 6 cars in the parking lot on a Saturday night and the hotel sits back off the road with a gravel lot access.
