Cambria Hotel Columbus - Polaris

The hotel was located right off the freeway and close to many restaurants. The price was very reasonable and the hotel had all the amenities you would want. The pool, hot tub and fitness room were very clean and well equipped. The hotel was very quiet and clean. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable.

Very nice boutique hotel with all the amenities plus some. It lost a star because of the attitude of the front desk upon arrival and the toast and juice for breakfast??? Did have two TVs in the room and actually had hangers in the closet but then again I did have a suite.

Easy check in and we stayed in a suite with two queen beds and sofa bed. Room had two tvs, mini fridge and microwave. I would definitely recommend this type of room to families. The area is quiete and there were no loud noises after check in. Unfortunately , no free breakfast at all during our stay.

DON"T STAY HERE!!! Discount all positive reviews...they are deceitful. Our room A/C was broken, the thermostat was set to 69 degrees but the room stayed at 78 degrees the entire stay. Also, our bed was broken and slept with our feet higher than our head the whole night. The front desk was clueless and offered no remedy, only passed-off our concerns to the next daytime manager and maintenance. The pool pump must have been broken because there was no movement of the water and you could see hairs floating in the pool. I will NEVER stay here again...even if it was free. We had a friend that stayed there the weekend after us...and his truck (and 5 others) was broken in to...the glass in the truck was smashed. The police responded and told them that its a regular occurrence at this location and that they often break into vehicles to look only for guns. The hotel is aware of it and has signs in the elevator indicating they hold no liability for break-ins. I would have talked my friend into staying somewhere else if I had known they were considering staying at Cambria hotel Columbus, Oh POLARIS. My friend told me that their room A/C was broken...I asked them their room number just to see if they happened to stayed in the same room as we did...it was a different room! SMH DON'T STAY HERE! The appearance of the common areas look amazing....the management will run this place into the ground....quickly. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

My husband and I both loved everything at Cambria. Soon after we got to our room, we called the desk and asked for another bath towel. Two minutes later there was a knock at our door and the man who checked us in brought towel! The hotel and room was clean and bed was very comfortable! Location was great. Checkout was easy. Will definitely go back!

We enjoyed a girls night out in the Polaris area. We shared one of the 2 room suites for a one night stay. The room had enough space for all of us to sit and relax. The hotel staff was wonderful!!! The hotel was clean and comfortable. It looked like they were in the process of remodeling/updating the decor. The light continental breakfast was just right for us girls. We are looking forward to staying there again.

This site in Columbus Ohio used to be a great place to stay: clean, operationally efficient and comfortable. Not my last trip, lobby was under construction, no water/snacks/etc, refrigerator in small shop broke, eating & bar area were a mess, 1st floor smelled and I was informed that no breakfast would be served during my visit. Then I got to the room: desk and chair were dirty, bathroom dirty, garbage in the trash can, plastic bags on the closet floor, and hangers on the floor by the air conditioner and in the closet. The room was obviously not cleaned very well - just aweful.

We used reward points for this stay and it was a great value. The hotel was easily accessible off the interstate and was close to a mall; and a Costco was located across the street. We asked for a two queen bed suite and the room was outstanding. We had lots of room, a couch, and two flat screen televisions. There were plenty of plugs for our electronic devices and a Keurig coffee maker in the room. I would give this hotel a 6 plus if allowed.

We booked three rooms because it was for a family get-together, however, we encounter a problem with management. A family member called to make sure we were allowed to have service dogs at the hotel. She told them they had a reservation and management said yes they allow service dogs. Now by law, you do not need a certificate or proof it is a service dog, also the vest does not have to be a certain color to be a service dog. My daughter took the dog out for his morning constitutional and forgot to put the vest on. She was stopped by the manager and he rudely told her the dog had to go and they would be thrown out of the hotel. She explained she didn't have the vest on but would have it on from then on. He told her after she had the vest on that it was not a service dog and she had to provide proof. By law she didn't have to. He continued to harrass her so we called the corporate office. (The manager claimed they didn't have a corporate office and that he owned the hotel) Once we made the complaint everything was fine. But the manager in this hotel is extremely rude and unprofessional. We also found out after we left that he continued to talk about our stay. The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. We were not together as we had asked for but two of the rooms were connecting. Breakfast was not served at this hotel even though it says it on the website. The swimming pool was small but nice. If you wanted to eat there bring lots of money as the prices are very high. The staff was curious and polite and friendly, however, the manager was not. I would have rated this place a 5 but because we were harassed by management I will only give it a 3.
