Les Suites de Collioure

Very nice suite and excellent location. Some design details were lacking. However! WiFi ******! There’s no excuse for bad wifi today. Also no red wine glasses. Not enough cutlery. Tv on the piss in our room. And the weirdest lighting system invented. Tap and sink in bathroom mismatch. We enjoyed the stay nonetheless but the lack of attention to detail and the newness of the hotel didn’t gel!

Pros Excellent location near the center of Collioure. Clean ultra modern accommodation Our upgraded suite had two separate bedrooms. Helpful in suggesting and organizing dinner reservations Cons This is not a hotel, there is no staff on site, do not expect bottled water in the rooms or even Kleenex. You will not get help in hauling your luggage up the narrow staircase to the third floor (4th floor for Americans). The modern lighting system is unfathomable and includes an infuriating moving sensor system in the toilet that lights up automatically when you approach then also turns off automatically with a timer whether or not you are ready. There are no electrical outlets in the bedrooms. There is no breakfast facility in the building but a so-called brunch box is delivered the previous night to the refrigerator, it contains a wide variety of cheeses fruit and bakery goods, the latter turning soggy from being overnight in the refrigerator. The rooms are not made up daily and the puny supply of teas and coffee capsules are not replenished either. This type of accommodation is a rare find. Luxury mixed with practicality in a fantastic location. The host rang me to tell me about the how to get entry, parking and other essentials which was a nice touch. The suite was superior in every way from the bed linen, to towels and kitchen facilities. It’s located a five minute walk from the beach. I would like to find a fault to give balance to the review but I can’t find any. Well done Nuria. You deserve the five star review.

We had a one bedroom apartment with an additional pullout for 2 adults and 2 kids. Great location to beaches and town, very quiet at night, lovely rooms. Would definitely stay here again. Wish beach towels were provided, the only oversight!

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment with terrace. It was beautifully designed, well equipped, very clean, very comfortable beds with lovely bedding, great location, friendly helpful host. We would definitely recommend.
