Liu Resort Review – A Beautiful New Hotel with Room to Improve! Liu Resort is a beautifully designed, brand-new property that shows great potential to become a top-tier destination. With its modern facilities and family-friendly atmosphere, it offers a solid foundation for a 5-star experience. However, several aspects require immediate attention if it is to truly stand out in a competitive market. Highlights & Positives New and Stylish: The hotel is recently built and visually impressive, with spacious areas and modern decor. Kids’ Club: A well-run and engaging space for children, making it a strong choice for families. However, a 10:00 AM opening time may be too late for early-rising children—an earlier start (e.g. 8:00 AM) would allow parents more flexibility. Beach Bar: One of the standout features, with great service and atmosphere, though it can get quite busy at peak times. Stagnum Pool Bar: Another nice spot, albeit often with long queues. Fitness Center: Open 24/7, a rare and appreciated amenity, though the gym is undersized for the hotel’s capacity. Areas for Improvement & Recommendations Aqua Park Bar: Drinks are of poor quality and the service is subpar. Consider upgrading beverage offerings and training staff to enhance guest experience. Ice cream machines only offer vanilla—a missed opportunity to delight children. A variety of flavors should be added. Barbershop Pricing: €50 for a men’s haircut is excessive. Consider offering a more competitive pricing structure or tiered services. Onsite Medical Services: Charging €120 just to consult the nurse, and requiring insurance claims, is unreasonable and discouraging. Review pricing and ensure transparency at check-in. Language Barrier: Many staff members do not speak or understand basic English, making communication difficult. For a 5-star resort, basic English proficiency should be standard across all guest-facing staff. Immediate investment in language training is advised.
