Oakhurst House B&B

We want to thank you for our lovely two-night stay at Oakhurst. You provided us with the luxurious getaway we were hoping for – a spacious, well-appointed bedroom/sitting room overlooking Cobh Harbor. The bed was very comfortable (especially with the crisp white linens and fluffy pillows), and your made-to-order breakfasts were both perfectly prepared and elegantly presented. It was a treat to have two kinds of juices and a big pot of strong French press coffee to start our day! By greeting us at the door, showing us around, and introducing us to your loving and playful dogs, you made us feel more like friends than visitors. We hope to return to Cobh some day, and look forward to staying at Oakhurst when we do.

Just back from a wonderful stay in Oakhurst House. Our room was amazing and what a beautiful view of Cobh Harbour. Our bed was so comfy, the hosts Ronnie and Amhad were amazing could not do enough for us, breakfast was lovely, so much of a choice to pick from. We will definitely go back to stay there again, thanks again for all your help Gerry and Therese.

Superb B&B (hosts, house, room, location, decor, landscape). Stylish, delightfully thoughtful, and kindly detail-oriented for guests by hosts Ronnie and Ahmed. Stayed for 2 nights. Breakfasts were scrumptious and elegantly presented with remarkable flatware, dishes, and environment. Definitely a 10 out of 10 in all aspects.

Ronnie serves the best breakfast in Ireland. Beautiful house, stunning views and fabulous hospitality. The location is within walking distance of city center. Ronnie and Ahmad went out of their way to make me feel welcome. They dried my clothes and shoes after I was drenched with rain. I highly recommend.

Wow, totally amazing. Ronnie is a charming and delightful host who goes the extra mile to ensure your stay is a memorable one. We couldn’t have been happier, from the warmest welcome to the comfort of the rooms (btw the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in), the exceptional breakfast, wonderful decor and beautiful garden overlooking the ocean. We felt totally spoilt. If you visit this beautiful area Oakhurst is an absolute must made all the more special by our wonderful host. Don’t miss this piece of paradise.

Fabulous friendly guest house. Our rooms were excellent with lots of space. The ensuite was lovely with a nice shower. A great choice at breakfast, we had full Irish which was delicious served in the conservatory overlooking the garden With fantastic views. The hosts were so helpful and made us feel really welcome . Definitely be back .....
