good, but need to let park free

My wife and I spent 2 nights here after leaving downtown Atlanta after attending the Shriner convention in Atlanta. We stopped at this Marriott Springhill suites to take in a couple of Braves games. The Springhill is a wonderful little suburban stop that has everything you would need for a couple of casual nights. It is located in a business park neighborhood, which we found clean and safe and was an easy walk to and from Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves. A simple breakfast each day is included and the staff was very pleasant and eager to help.

I found my stay to be average at the hotel. A couple of things stood out to me. The hotel was a bit noisy if the room faced the freeway, which mine did. Or at least it face a busy road it seemed. The other thing which I am not sure I have ever mentioned in a review is that the sheets in the bed seems a little rough. Having stayed over 1000 nights in a Marriott property, this is the first time I have even mentioned that. The hotel was a little loud, but maybe that was due to a baseball weekend and the light just absolutely shined through the room the moment the sun rose. I had to put towels under the door to prevent all the light from leaking in from the hallway. The room was clean and the hotel was well maintained but the fact the room lit up like high noon when the sun came up was a distraction to me.

We stayed here for 3 nights. This is perfect for going to Braves games. It is an easy walk to the stadium. The hotel is clearly new and our room had no issues -except the couch. It was impossible to sit on it because the seat was so long. It was impossible to read on it. The breakfast crew struggled when things were busy, but did a good job.

Check in was quick. Room was spacious and nice. Room had microwave. It had separate seating area. Free breakfast had everything from waffles, sausage oatmeal and types of muffins and bread. This was walking distance for the Braves game. It was located around all types of restaurants

Easy and safe walk to Truist Park. Staff was friendly and hotel was new, clean and quiet. Breakfast was standard hotel buffet but it was well stocked so no complaints there. You do pay for parking but it is plentiful and the area felt safe so again no complaint. Would definitely stay again for a Braves game.
