Ballinalacken Castle Country House Hotel

Lovely couple running this lovely small country motel. We stayed three nights, ate in for dinner for two, it was lovely. The host conducts tours of the castle each afternoon, it was fascinating. The surrounds are lovely, so much to see. Would come back if I lived closer.

My absolute favorite manor house in Ireland’s beautiful west! I’ve been staying here since 2006 & I’m always welcomed back with the best Irish hospitality! Beautiful views, gorgeous rooms with the most comfortable mattresses, gourmet dining in the restaurant & a delightful castle tour!

Anyone looking for an intimate wedding venue should definitely consider Ballinalacken Castle Country House. We had our wedding here recently with 40 family and friends all staying in the hotel. We had the most amazing time. The service was exemplary with all staff making us feel welcome and like nothing was too much of an ask. They couldn't have been more accommodating. The food is outstanding, Luca was lovely to work with developing the wedding menu and doing our cake. Our guests were blown away by how beautiful it all was. We stayed the full weekend and the service, food ext. remained consistently fantastic throughout. Breakfast was lovely with tasty baked treats. We had a tour of the castle to top it off, which our guests really enjoyed. We had the most amazing views and location for photos and were blessed with a spectacular sunset. We had our ceremony infront of the Castle ruins, reception in the garden (we had glorious weather). Dinner in the restaurant and the after party with music in the bar. We had an amazing time, Ballinalacken Castle Country House exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the whole team for making it all so special.

The staff was very friendly and really helpful, the rooms were spacious and the view from outside the window was also magnificent

We had a great stay here for two nights. Enjoyed dinner at the hotel one night as well as a tour of the Castle ruins. So cool. Room was spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast was good as well. We were also able to enjoy the little bar at the hotel both nights. The owners are friendly and on site. Beautiful location and close to all of the spots we were visiting. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Easy parking.

The Ballinalacken Castle Country House was so much more than we expected! It is the perfect location overlooking the Cliffs of Moher. We had no idea that we would be able to actually walk through the castle with the owner. It was a fantastic way to see and feel history come alive! The dinner was fabulous as well as the room. The owners and staff were all very attentive.
