The Mill Apartments Clare Valley

Its in a great location, private yet near to the centre of Clare, we found it to be generously provisioned for breakfast and wine, with well thought out comfort, clean, and a most enjoyable place to be in. Staff were most helpful. We look forwrard to staying there again.

Wow… ticks all the boxes. Self contained , modern villas that basically have everything. Secure parking, very close to Clare, lovely, welcoming staff. Fully equipped with some exceptional extras included ( wine- cheese), really can’t fault this place. A must visit.

Stayed 01/01/25 Communication with Victoria was brilliant. Comfortable cosy apartment with great shower, large bath, comfortable bed, pillows & slippers. Delicious wine along with cheese, crackers and wonderful assortment of hot & cold breakfast provisions to prepare for yourself. Will stay again! Corina

The Mill Apartments are located at the end of town, just a couple of minutes from the main drag. The apartments are spotlessly clean, and have a generously equiped kitchen. Basics are supplied eg oil, salt, pepper, glad wrap, baking paper and kitchen paper towels. A complimentary breakfast is provided daily. There is a selection of cereals, jams, honey, butter, bacon, bread, eggs, bacon, orange juice and water. You are also left cheese and biscuits. All of this is replaced daily. Such amazing generosity from the owners! Shampoo, conditioner and hand/body lotion are supplied (Biology 303 - lovely products!). There was also a voucher for a complimentary tasting at "Jim Barry Wines", which was a great experience. The staff running the apartment do a fabulous job, and are happy to assist if you need anything at all. There are also two restaurants right next to the apartments - Antidote and Ragu and Co. We didn't try Ragu as it was closed, for Antidote is fabulous for breakfast, lunch or dinner - excellent Indian food (covered under separate review). Highly recommend these apartments if you are staying in Clare. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed 2 nights at Mill Apartments and it was really lovely. Spotlessly clean with very generous provisions for breakfast which were topped up daily. The staff are super friendly and very welcoming. Ragu & Co Italian restaurant is literally next door and is a must visit. The food was superb and a great setting. Highly recommend 10/10!

The best place to stay in Clare. Rooms are perfectly set out, with large lounge / kitchen area. Bedrooms are comfortable and the bathroom is spectacular with a large bath and shower. Everything you could want is supplied in all rooms. Breakfast provisions of bacon and eggs, cereal, bread, etc. We had a lovely balcony surrounded by trees with a creek running below. A one-minute walk to a wonderful Italian restaurant, coffee shop and 5-minute walk to pub and Seed.
