It is July 2024, we have been here since May 2024. We are here for my husband‘s job. All of the staff here are extremely accommodating, professional, warm, welcoming, always have a smile on their faces, they greet you ,they go above and beyond the call of duty. I applaud them all, and I hope they get the recognition they all deserve. If they can’t do it or find something they will find someone that can. All of them are extremely efficient and proficient in their positions. The hotel is clean and I feel safe here. The surrounding area is very convenient with lots of shopping and restaurants. Close enough to walk to. Tons of options. The Sandcastle, it’s a waterpark is here. Also, if you have children to entertain. And Kennywood is close by as well. The bike path along the river is beautiful and convenient. The beds are comfortable. The view of the river from our balcony is gorgeous. They do have a bistro down In the lobby area. It is open for breakfast and dinner. They do have a bar. They also have free coffee in the morning. All in all, it has been an enjoyable experience staying in this hotel. I would recommend this hotel,If you are visiting this area. I would definitely come back to this hotel if in the area again. Again kudos to all of the employees! U make this hotel what is it!! La ubicación es buena y el personal es agradable. La tarifa es un poco alta. Probablemente debido al torneo NCAA, pero no importa cuando vayas es siempre bastante alta para esta habitación de calibre. La oferta de desayuno es agradable. La habitación huele como si hubiera sido ocupada previamente por un fumador. Eso es algo que no debería poder detectar, en mi opinión. La botella parcialmente vacía de loción un poco disturbante al llegar.

The Pittsburgh Waterfront Holiday Inn is a wonderful place to stay. It is beautiful, clean and friendly. The best part of staying here is not the beautiful location or cleanliness, but the fabulous staff. Ryan has been so fabulous. He was so patient, kind and knowledgeable when we checked in. He made us feel so welcome and is always friendly and helpful. He makes us feel that this is truly a home away from home.

I spent 4 nights at this hotel and found it to be wonderful! The staff was friendly and professional. The breakfast very tasty! The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is close to shops and restaurants. I recommend this hotel!

El hotel era muy agradable y muy divertido. El conductor de autobuses del hotel, Marvin, era tan divertido y personal. El hizo el viaje aquí mucho mejor. El bar y el restaurante del hotel fueron sorprendentemente asequibles, y la comida y el personal fueron muy buenos.

Ya me quedo por segunda vez. El desayuno es bueno y muy rico. Si aún no está satisfecho, hay panqueques en el lugar, pero por su cuenta, ¡dé una buena reseña! Y la habitación se puede cocinar y comer. Solía cocinar unos fideos y agregar algo de comida picante para comer y comer. Todo el hotel da una sensación muy cómoda.

¡Me quedé aquí hace más de una década y me revisé recientemente durante un viaje a Pittsburgh y me sorprendió cómo era diferente el hotel, de la mejor manera posible! La totalidad de la instalación ha sido renovada y puedes decir que se han hecho las mejoras; el lobby frontal es espacioso, limpio y invitado y está cerca de la zona donde se aloja el desayuno gratuito por la mañana. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, limpias y modernas, con nuestras dos habitaciones estándar con un gran escritorio/cocina, un sofá y dos TVs además de las camas! La ubicación es grande, cerca de una carretera importante y de muchas tiendas y restaurantes -perfecto para aquellos que quieren quedarse en Pittsburgh pero todavía cerca de atracciones!

Please avoid this hotel. It is in an undesirable part of town without any restaurants or anywhere to walk to. It mainly serves as a perch for the hospital. We paid $290 in August 23 to stay here one night and it was worth half that. When we realized we could’ve stayed somewhere nice 10 minutes away it was a lesson. Everything is small and old here. Everything looks shabby. In the spirit of open candidness, I should say that we are huge Hampton Inn fans - they are our preferred chain everywhere we travel in the world. The most alarming incident of this stay was at 9:40 PM when someone used a card to access our room and started opening the door. I had put the security latch across, which made the attempted door opening loud & really aggressive. My husband went to the door. The man outside acted surprised and said housekeeping sent him, but he had nothing with him, and he did not knock first, which housekeeping always does in hotels. It was unsettling. Without the security latch he would have been in the room and we were in bed. We will never return. Although we still love the Hampton Inn chain. Go 10 minutes away to the area on the other side of the river.
