Excellent Experience and would HIGHLY recommend! The staff at this Courtyard by Marriott in Lufkin, Texas was outstanding! My dad’s car was totaled in a head-on car crash while driving through Lufkin. When released from the hospital he had nowhere to stay, no car and knew no one in the area. I called this hotel from my home in Minneapolis and the staff immediately started helping me! The Manager, Barbara Boykin was extraordinary and really went above and beyond. Barbara helped me book a 3-day stay for my dad to rest and recover. There was no Uber or Lyft in the area, but Barbara helped me connect with a local ride service to get my dad transportation from the hospital to the hotel. Upon his arrival, Barbara had great help from Sam, who carried my dad’s suitcase and computer bag and helped my dad to his room. Sam is also the chef at the hotel. He told my dad he would make him anything he wanted. My dad was not feeling very well so Sam suggested a delicious soup, which was perfect! Barbara even brought the soup to my dad and checked on him to make sure he was doing okay. During his stay, he said everyone on staff was friendly, helpful and gave him red carpet treatment. My dad really appreciated this caring and attentive staff that took such good care of him at his time of need. My family and I are so extremely grateful for the help! Barbara and Sam are AMAZING!!! Thank you for your wonderful service.

Me quedo en el Motel 6 porque normalmente viajo con mi perro. Este es un buen Motel 6 limpio. Tengo una habitación sin fumar y ni siquiera hay rastro de huevo de cigarrillos. Su SUPPER CLEAN !!! ”Quality Inn where your satisfaction is guaranteed.” No, not at this motel. I needed a clean place to sleep in the evening and to take a bath and get on the road in the morning. Bed was okay. Getting ready to leave in the morning there was no way to keep water in the tub and the shower did not work so I dressed and checked out. I told the lady at the checkout of the issues with room 246 and she said she could send maintenance. I told her there was no way to stop the water in the tub and the shower head seemed to be damaged and controls would need replacing and that I had to leave. I did take a card with the manager's name - Raj Patel. When I called back to speak with Mr. Patel I was told that he was only at the motel from 7am to 10am. And that I was to blame for the problem because I did not call for maintenance. (Don't the room cleaners report obvious problems in the rooms?) I called again the next day at the time I was directed to call and the manager was still not there. So...Mr Patel seems to be purposely unavailable to speak with his customers. He also seems purposely unavailable to have the necessary repairs made to his facility. It also seems obvious that the Quality Inn does not do regular ”quality checks” on its franchises. This will be the last time that I ever stop at a ”Quality Inn” anywhere.

UUsuario invitadoThis Hampton Inn and Suites was a pleasant experience and has renewed my confidence in the Hampton Inn brand after a couple of bad experiences at other locations. Jason was polite and efficient at check in and assigned us to a quiet room on the top floor, away from highway noise. The hotel common areas and our room were clean and appeared newly updated. Breakfast was standard Hampton Inn fare but was presented in an appetizing manner in a brightly lit room.
