CCompass19732002665I spent one night here after a long flight and absolutely loved my stay. The hotel was easy to find and there are a lot of amenities in the area. All the staff I interacted with were all attentive, friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to interact with me. My check-in was very quick. I requested a quiet room, as I am a light sleeper, and was given a very quiet room. My room was fantastic. It was spotlessly clean, everything in the room worked as expected, and it was very spacious. I used the pool during my stay. There were lots of towels, the pool area was well maintained, and the water was a very nice temperature. I slept like a baby. The only downside to my stay was the gigantic chair in the bedroom. I got up in the night to use the restroom and tripped right over it. LOL! I guess I could have slept on the other side of the bed, but where is the fun in that? All-in-all, I had a great stay and highly recommend this hotel for anyone that needs a clean and quiet place to stay.

MMartin4130Very pleasant stay. Room spacious, clean, updated and quiet. Sam's diner close by. Close to interstate. Fuel stations nearby. A travelers stop no fuss and keep moving. Just what was necessary. Would stay again - definitely ! Will stop again next trip west.

While the staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel had some serious issues. The first day, we realized that one of the tvs didn’t work. We mentioned it to staff and they said we could switch rooms, but we had already unpacked with the baby and it was going to be a lot to switch, so we stayed. Then we saw that in the bathroom, the toilet paper was stained and there was clear water damage above the shower. It didn’t seem unsafe, however, and everything was usable, so we made do. Problems got worse the second day. We went to shower and not only were there no washcloths and towels that were far smaller than standard, but there didn’t seem to be enough water pressure to work the shower. I was able to make it work once earlier in the day, but it did not work at all later in the day or the following morning. By this point, we were told we could not switch rooms. Final issue was the pool. When we tried to take our son down the first time, it was closed for cleaning. Not a big deal; it has to happen. There wasn’t a notice or sign or anything to warn us though, so between getting ready, figuring out what was happening, and getting back dressed, we lost a good chunk of time and had a very cranky toddler. The next morning, we went to try again and were told that the pool didn’t open til 9 despite the big sign saying that is opened at 6. Thankfully it was not too much beforehand and the staff let us in while they cleaned the pool deck. There was a layer of bubbly chemicals just sitting on top of the water, which had me concerned, but we rinsed off afterward in the small stream of water coming from the bathtub when we returned to the room and no one seemed to have a reaction. All in all, the hotel felt safe and staff was kind, but it was one little thing after another that resulted in way more complications than I needed in my trip and one very smelly husband who couldn’t clean off well in the little tub trickle. I would not recommend it unless you really just need a safe bed and some good breakfast.

Ninguno de ellos era el problema. Después de 3 minutos se detuvo. Me volví a dormir y otra vez a las 03:00am comenzó todo. Esta vez la radio de pequeño.clock en el stand nocturno fue el problema. El cordaje en la espalda no estaba atacado y cuando lo movía se gritaría, alto. El fuego. Al llegar por la mañana, finalmente quería ducharme y salir. Bueno, tampoco fue agradable. El tubo se apoyó, así que yo estaba en agua profunda de un ternero desagradable. Después de terminar rápidamente, me seco y me di cuenta de una mantequilla de mantequilla como una sustancia que se desplegó en el lado de la vanidad. Me arrojé rápidamente en ropa limpia, empacé mis cosas y me dejé. Sí, podría haber ido al escritorio delantero y decirles todo sobre ella. Sin embargo, los agentes de la oficina del frente no pueden reembolsar su dinero ni incluso corregir esos problemas, y simplemente no se preocupe. Sandy the ”Breakfast Ambassador” was extremely rude. She talked to another employee in the main lobby dining area about guests and employees making guests uncomfortable. She complained that staff on 2nd/3rd shift weren't stocking items, moving tables, etc. very loudly. She also complained to all the guests that my autistic son (4 years old) spilled his cereal onto the carpet and that it was a result of bad parenting. Needless to say, I was very upset at the comments. I had even offered to clean up the mess. There had been a birthday party the night before which she complained about loudly, even though those guests, I walked through the lobby during their event, were extremely polite and not loud at all. She ruined what otherwise was a good experience and will prevent me from recommending or returning to this motel. I reported to the desk staff at checkout and they were very nice. I feel bad for them because this employee is ruining repeat business and I hate to see the bad reviews due to a rude person. I understand service industry jobs are demanding and guests/other employees can be hard to deal with, but there are break rooms. Talking about people in front of guests is extremely unprofessional and unnecessary.
