Fabuloso
The Springhill Suites is one of the closest hotels near our wedding venue, and it includes a bar to host an after-party. We had many out-of-town guests and wanted somewhere to crash after our wedding night. The Springhill Suites offered the perfect accommodations, including complimentary extended hours for the bar. It was the perfect way to spend some extra time with our out-of-town guests. All the bookings were extremely easy, and we even had our room compensated for the night to bring our guests. Our room was so wonderful, and the staff left us a congratulations goodie bag. I highly recommend this hotel for all stays, but especially for your wedding guests!

La habitación era un poco antigua si lo comparaba con otros países que visité, pero para los estadounidenses era muy buena. La TV tenía más que suficientes canales y sólo una vez en un momento oí un avión. I stayed for two nights and my overall stay was average. My room was very nice and clean and the hotel overall was nice. However, I have a few things that are worth mentioning here. As a Lifetime Titanium Member, I have high expectations when I stay at a Renaissance. The first and very shocking thing is that I had no hot water. When I called downstairs they said that we do have hot water and that we just have to let it run for about 15-20 minutes before it will get warm. I did that and then I had a hot shower. This does seem a little ridiculous to me though. Both from a conservation standpoint as well as time. ( I arrived around 1am and was exhausted and ready for a quick shower and bed.) Further, this hotel staff needs some training and my even bigger complaint is about the restaurant. The front desk informed me that breakfast would be served in the restaurant until 11 AM. I received 1 breakfast voucher for two and was told that I could get another one the next day if I wanted to eat in the restaurant again. Breakfast the first day was mostly without incident, however it took a few people and way too long for me to receive the check. ( I had a voucher and my balance was zero. ) The next day, my sister and I arrived at the restaurant at about 10:40am and the floor was completely wet and had already been mopped up. Granted, there was no one in the restaurant, but I still didn’t expect this at this hour. There was nobody seated and we wanted to eat breakfast. There was no one to greet us at the door but then somebody spotted us, and then seated us. I told my sister about the incredible stuffed French toast that I had for breakfast the previous day and thus we ordered that and then afterwards we were told that we couldn’t get breakfast. So there is definitely some mis-communication here between the front desk and restaurant. In addition, the woman who seated us was extremely nasty and when we had expressed that the floor was being mopped at that moment she was rude to us and decided that she wouldn’t seat us and instead handed us off to someone else. This was completely inappropriate, unexpected and certainly doesn’t meet the Marriott standard. Afterwards, I went down to the front desk and talked to the front desk manager, Tiffany. She acknowledged that some training is needed at the front desk (and I definitely think it is needed in the restaurant!) and then I was accommodated me accordingly. The only other comment I’ll make is about the parking. It is very confusing and the parking is shared with the connecting venue. I was lost and I also don’t know if I’d want to walk downstairs in that long hallway alone late at night. Having said all of this, I would stay here again if I ever find myself in Allentown.

Absolutely wonderful stay, I can't say enough great things about the place. Stephen the general manager went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was good. The pillows and beds were comfortable. The place was extremely clean with everything that you would need for your stay. They have an on staff valet service, which was very timely and inconvenient for just a small up charge. The Rooms were very quiet. We did not hear any outside noise, although we knew that hotel was at capacity.

A fire alarm set it up so we were kicked out for a few hours. They should have done something to apologize for that…..a free breakfast….something for the inconvenience. We paid for the off menu breakfast……mistake. Food was sad. Poached eggs served in a bowl with water…eggs barely cooked. Coffee cup not clean. Service was ‘ meh’ the first two days….deteriorated on the third with mistakes by the waitress causing a long wait for our order to come out. We should have just gone to the Red Robin or the Waffle House which are both next door. Room was fine. And front desk staff were nice.

The friendliest staff of any Holiday Inn Express I have visited. I was greeted upon arrival and everyone was very accommodating during my stay. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Housekeeping services were exceptional and everyone was very friendly. The internet was excellent and worked without any interruptions . Highly recommend this hotel.

Vivek fue muy amable y útil que salió de su camino para ayudarnos lo que un gran servicio vivek ofreció que fue tarde en la noche que reservamos el día equivocado y él estaba con nosotros hasta el final que nos hizo conseguirnos una habitación tarde en un fin de semana que definitivamente ¡Recomendación!

This hotel is very run down, not clean or taken care of at all. There is a large infestation of German cockroaches offered to change rooms after they were everywhere but it only got worse. We didn’t stay and on the way out the activities happening there we were glad we did not. The only reason I did not rate as terrible is because the individual at the front desk was very accommodating and understanding. We are not picky individuals when it comes to a quick overnight stop but this was not suitable for even a quick sleep.
