Disappointed. Let me begin by saying there was nothing wrong with g with our room. It was spotless as was the facility. The general look was beautiful. The check in process was odd. I understand showing ID but between that and having to sign highlighted policy pages regarding quiet time etc I felt a bit strange as though I wasn’t trusted to be an upstanding guest. There was no bar lounge - not a huge deal but just was looking forward to that. Checking the website I do see that it was checked as available I’m a review and not the hotel sight. There was a whole section of the hotel. Marked off as private with a big easel. Again odd .. access to the pool .. fitness? They charged my CC twice once for the room and again for “incidentals” An odd way of doing things even though I understand that an incidental hold is common. The bed looked beautiful but has soft spots where you kind of rolled into the center. Breakfast was MIA in the am Not even a cup of coffee. It was however a good price!

El hotel está con reformas y muchos servicios como el de restaurante o gimnasio no están disponibles. De todas formas lo peor es que unilateralmente deciden, sin avisar ni especificar en ningún momento, que no limpian o hacen el cuarto. Cuando llegas de trabajar te lo encuentras así y la solución es que tenías que avisar, pero nadie te informa al llegar. Aunque da igual, avisas y si no les da tiempo no lo hacen. Están muy cortos de personal y se nota. El hotel está muy viejo y la moqueta tuvo mejor vida. El personal es muy amable tanto en recepción como para el desayuno, pero los servicios dejan bastante que desear. La variedad de comida en el desayuno es escasa y repetitiva y no está bien dimensionado, ya que sí de repente va mucha gente, como me pasó uno de los días, se acaba todo y tardan en reponer. Salvo que tengan que ir por trabajo al área de Greenbelt mejor evitarlo.

You know how an excellent staff can make even an overnight in a roadside motel a fine experience, while a bad staff can ruin a high end expensive hotel splurge? Well that's the story here. Our family booked 2 rooms here for several nights to attend an event at University of Maryland. It's very convenient to UofM as well as Washington DC. 1 mile to the Green line Metro station. I spoke to several people before booking and arrival in sales and front desk. All were helpful and kind. From sales to the pool attendant all were friendly and helpful. At check in, Ashley and Mike went above and beyond to get us settled into proper rooms. Mike switched one room with a funky door lock but kept us together, helped move furniture and brought us an extra chair. Angie helped me extend one room when we were too tired to go. Best front desk staff over many trips. We had breakfast as early as 6:45 and late as 8:45. Mr. Damian kept the food stocked, hot or cold as appropriate, tables bussed and clean. But more than that, one of us has a food allergy and Damian took it seriously, read ingredient labels to make sure there were appropriate choices and that we know about them. He is an exemplary employee and lovely guy. As I'm writing this, front desk called to ask if I left an item in the dining room. I did, but hadn't even discovered it yet. Mr. Damian ran it up to me. There are a few minor issues in the room, but the bed was great, furniture fine and TV, while basic, was huge with good picture and sound. Cable and Wifi worked fine. Pull out couch better for a kid than an adult. We actually liked the roomy layout of the larger suite more than the one bedroom. One minor complaint. We didn't use housekeeping during our stay other than getting supplies from friendly housekeepers, but the rooms were not as clean upon arrival as one could hope. I wound up using paper towels to clean the tile floors in kitchen and bath area. That said, we will definitely come back here when visiting DC and hope Marriott takes note of the outstanding staff at the Residence Inn Greenbelt. Btw, we really liked Greenbelt itself. Every single person we encountered in restaurants and stores was helpful and friendly. Made the week very pleasant.

Nos hemos comunicado claramente nuestras necesidades de una habitación con discapacidad y una habitación doble para acomodar a 3 miembros de la familia. La habitación con discapacidad tenía un tubo cuando pedimos un paseo en la ducha. No había absolutamente ningún almacenamiento en la habitación ni en el baño. No había caja fuerte en la habitación. Se nos dijo que era así como todas las habitaciones con discapacidad. No había jabón en la habitación. El hotel de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de la ciudad de Esta habitación tenía una ducha de paseo, un pequeño conjunto de tiradores en el baño, ningún otro almacenamiento y una caja fuerte que era inaccesible y literalmente sobre lo que se llama eufemisticamente un armario. Todo esto por sólo $250 por noche, 3 habitaciones por 3 noches. No es una cantidad insignificante de dinero. El único alojamiento que recibimos después de pedir fue un desayuno bufé gratuito que era comparable a un Holiday Inn Express, adecuado, pero sin duda no lavish. También porque una persona hizo la reserva no daría puntos de lealtad a nadie más, aunque todos pagamos por nuestras propias habitaciones.

At first I was hesitant about staying here cuz of the negative reviews but it was actually pretty decent. Great location from the greenbelt ***** mall stores that me and my SO walked a couple times. We stayed on the main floor we did have someone stay above us that we herd them walking but it wasn’t to crazy and it was quiet at night. The bed was good to sleep in not the normal fluffy comfiness but it was still good enough to sleep and not wake up with any back pain. I did request additional pillows which wasn’t an issue for the front desk. They did have cookware to cook with that was convenient did have to purchase separately but again wasn’t to bad of a price and you get to keep it after your stay. I would stay here again and they were very accommodating to any request that I had. Great experience

This was a good location for a game at Maryland. The location is just off the beltway and there are some restaurants and other shopping within walking distance of the hotel. There was a security car parked in front of reception and this gave a good feeling. The parking lot is free. The rooms were clean and the linens smelled fresh. Reception was friendly with information. Seemed like a good location to stay overnight and catch a game at the University.

Bed Bug Bites all over my arm and neck! I’ve stayed here many times over the years and always liked this place. It is in a great location for my job and the staff has always been great. But last week I stayed there 2 nights and woke up with bed bug bites. If you’ve had this problem before, you understand. First there’s a little itchy red spot. As the day goes on you feel more itchy spots. At the end of the day you remove your shirt and OMG! Look - this happens. My third time over the last 20 years. I know the hotel doesn’t want to have bed bugs. But when it happens the hotel should be concerned, and act quickly. Not the case here. I had to call several times over several days and no one ever called me back. So I feel it is my moral obligation to let you know.

El título se copia de otro revisor con el que estoy totalmente de acuerdo. Cinco huéspedes antes de mí y fue de 35 minutos esperando mi turno. Para guardar tu punto 1n en la línea de inicio, no podías sentarse en los asientos disponibles en el salón obviamente. La habitación de la habitación era muy buena, pero la habitación era muy buena. Mi zona automovilística local en Filadelfia saluda a todos los clientes en la puerta, pero en ningún momento Michelle reconoció a los huéspedes o incluso intentaba explicar la línea larga para asegurar a los clientes con ”me estaré con usted pronto” o ”perdona el retraso” O ”la tormenta cayó en nuestros ordenadores” o algo parecido. Esto me lleva a concluir, con cierta precisión, que una línea de inspección extremadamente larga es LA NORM en esta ubicación . . . . El hotel tuvo algunos aspectos buenos, como habitaciones agradables y instalaciones de gimnasio adecuadas. Sin embargo, se han sobrecargado completamente por la terrible primera impresión en el check-in. El desayuno es también un suplemento de costo EXTRA - no incluido en la tarifa de la habitación diaria. IHG debe haber añadido como una librería para compensar a los huéspedes por el largo ingreso. En cuanto la mayoría de las personas se lleguen al hotel, la última cosa que quieren hacer es otra línea de tipo TSA o DMV sólo para inspeccionar. La línea de TSA se entiende. La línea de DMV también es totalmente comprensible. El inicio del hotel largo = infatigable. Si fuera el agente de la mesa delantera, empezaría con: ”Bienvenido a Maryland, casa de Chesapeake Bay. Lo siento por la larga línea, si quieres tener un asiento en nuestras cómodas sillas de salón, ponga tu nombre en esta lista aquí y te llamaré cuando es tu turno. ¿Fue su vuelo/driven? ¿Puedo darle una botella de agua fría?” Antes de mostrar compasión para sus clientes, obtener IHG una mejor revisión y un viaje tranquilo a los clientes cansados a menos que IHG considere más arriba fuera de su capacidad . . .
