Fue interesante que cuando mostré al barman el cupón ”Yelp” para un vaso de vino de bienvenida no sabía nada de él (no lo presioné como un vaso de vino de $6 no vale la pena el esfuerzo). We booked two rooms as part of a room block for my niece's wedding. The first night the AC in one of the rooms was malfunctioning, loud noises coming from it and an odor of smoke. An engineer was sent up at two in the morning and we were told it would have to be replaced. We requested to be moved to another room and were told the hotel was booked and no other rooms were available. The front desk offered a $50.00 credit for a $259.00 plus room charge. We requested a full refund due to the fact that we were unable to sleep the entire night. The AC unit was turned off and continued to make loud noises and emit a smoky odor. The female staying in the room was uncomfortable having to allow a maintenance man in her room at that hour of the night so she refused the service. This is a valid safety concern. We asked to speak to a manager and the manager continuously said they had to research the matter and would let us know. How much time does that take? Why is a maintenance issue in need of ”research”? It was requested that this matter be noted in their computer system so that anyone we spoke to on different shifts would be aware and they said it would. Come time to speak with the manager and she was rude, condescending, partonizing and would not directly anwer any questions, continously saying she had to ”research” the matter. When we continued to press her for a direct answer she told us to leave her lobby now. I thought HOSPITALITY was a key to an establishment such as this? You had no other room to offer us during the night and expected a single female to allow a maintenance worker in her room at 2 am? Come on people, you need to do better than this. We have filed a complaint with your corporate office to get our refund and against the staff that you allow to serve your customers this poorly. Video of the loud noise is available upon request.

This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The service was amazing. The location was so close to where I needed to be. The pillows were amazing too! Raj in customer service was so professional and kind. I will definitely be staying here again….. Lori Cunningham

Stayed for a few days, looking for parking, something comfortable and affordable, and in proximity to the LIRR. Overall, it was a good stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, wifi worked well although not perfectly. The only suggestions I have would be to up the level of customer service a notch. Check-in went well and the man behind the desk was polite and competent. Some of the cleaning staff asked us whether we wanted our room cleaned. We said yes, and they did a nice job. Another person told us that service was not included and our room was not cleaned that day. Not sure what was going on, but except for that day, our room was cleaned nicely with fresh towels. The other suggestion would be to not show Fox News in the lobby. Not sure if that was for the staff or guests. If the latter, please consider programming that would be appreciated by more of your guests. No TV at all, would have been fine for me and I assume many others too.
