We stayed at the Spark in Germantown for a family event. It was a disappointing experience. ROOMS - there's an infestation of ants in several rooms, one family member had to check out, the ants had taken over the counters. Hotel said they were sold out, so she went to the Sheraton. Another family member changed rooms after she found bugs under the bed sheet. a third family member had a smelly wall air conditioner unit-they changed the filter, but it didn't help. No ice, no microwave, no cups in bathroom, no alarm clock-bare minimums. The rooms have a stale odor. BREAKFAST - I would suggest going to the area restaurants, the bagel breakfast offered didn't taste fresh. FITNESS CENTER - water was dripping from the ceiling, as such tile had fallen to the floor. Called the front desk to let them know..., they sent someone who did a very poor job in attempting to clean it up, dripping water wasn't addressed. ROOM RATE - was very attractive for the first night, but the rate was increased for the second and third nights. I have never experience a hotel changing the room rate after the rate has been confirmed. Felt like bait and switch, the room rate shouldn't change after the reservation is confirmed. At check out the manager wasn't around, I called back and got a supervisor who told me that's the way they price rooms, rate is subject to change based upon occupancy. Even after they have confirmed the reservation. STAFF - all seemed pleasant, but young and inexperienced. At checkout the young man was yelling from behind the wall that he was coming..., took him almost 5 minutes to come check us out. RECOMMENDATION - I would not stay here again and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are many hotel choices in the area, it was a poor hotel experience.

El hotel estaba en 5 puntos de partida. Muy amigable y útil personal, habitación limpia, cama cómoda y cocinas. He pedido una habitación bastante y me pusieron en #401 al final del hall, muy segregado y lejos de todo. Fue perfecto. La ubicación es muy buena y cerca de todo lo que necesitaba.

Germantown MD is on the northwestern edge of the Gaithersburg metropolitan region. Easy access Washington DC, Dulles, and the train, to the 70 and 80 corridors to the Midwest and to the 95 corridor. The amenities and shopping opportunities in Germantown area are great. Special thanks to Savannah and the staff. I really appreciate all they do at the hotel and all they do to keep up the facility and manage the guests.

En los suburbios, muchos negros viven aquí. Quedarte menos de 6 días no te limpiará. Puede ir a la recepción para cambiar las toallas y sábanas limpias. Totalmente equipado con microondas, heladera y cocineta. Hay 55 autobuses en la puerta que se pueden trasladar a lugares cercanos y estaciones de metro.

Ubicado al lado de la autopista, la habitación es muy buena, el desayuno es bastante satisfactorio, el estacionamiento es gratuito y la ubicación es mucha. Adecuado para recorridos sin conductor desde las Cataratas del Niágara a Washington. Se puede llegar a Grand Falls en aproximadamente 7 horas en automóvil y desde el hotel hasta la hora pico en Washington durante aproximadamente una hora.

All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. There were many restaurants nearby and the Metro station to DC was near by as well. The room was clean and comfortable. Glad to see that the room had a microwave and refrigerator which were very clean. The a/c worked beautifully as it was very hot outside. Would recommend and stay again

My family stayed for 2 nights (thur & fri) but had a comfortable time here. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Pros: -quiet on the 6th floor, even with being the first room by the elevator (I expected it to be loud and annoying) -nice hot breakfast options -great open area for seating during breakfast and available all hours (as far as I could tell). Great place for groups. Some lounge/couch areas. My kids played some board games together. -clean and spacious rooms -full size fridge, dishwasher, 2-burner, microwave and small kitchen sink -nice staff -coffee and tea available after breakfast (for all hours?? Or until they run out? As far as I could tell) Cons: -really didn't have any on this stay and I'm a critical person!
