We love staying at the Fairfield Inn in Cumberland after completing the GAP trail from Pittsburgh. We have stayed here several times and each time we are impressed with the friendliness of the staff and how helpful and welcoming they are to cyclists. Location is perfect, rooms are comfortable, breakfast selections are plentiful. They are within walking distance to downtown Cumberland - it’s a perfect home base for starting or ending a bike trip. We always appreciate having the use of the hotel lobby after we check out and have a bit of time before we catch the train back to Pittsburgh, and have never left the hotel without being wished a “Safe trip home!”

Stayed here after a trip on the Scenic Railroad in Cumberland. Hotel was a short easy drive from the train depot. The rooms and the whole hotel were very nice, the hotel is only 6 years old. Everything was clean and showed little sign of wear. The beds were very comfortable, temperature in rooms adjusted easily. The included breakfast has a wide variety of good food! and the attendant replenishing the food was friendly and efficient. The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again. Hampton Inn is a name you can trust for a level of quality!

En la mañana tres, la señora del desayuno no nos permitiría hacer nuestra propia waffle! Lo haría por nosotros. Fue bueno tener acceso a agua caliente para el té cuando queríamos. Las toallas de baño estaban muy limitadas en mi habitación, pero el escritorio delantero me dio inmediatamente una toalla extra cuando le pedí una. Pensé que las toallas eran de buena calidad! ¡Muchas agua caliente y buena presión también! Las camas y las faldas eran muy cómodas! Buena estancia!

Great hotel. Easy and quick checkin, clean comfortable rooms. We came with a bus tour of over 40 people and we were treated like family by Carmelita and Mandy. They were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area. You won’t go wrong if you choose this hotel 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This Comfort Inn has been our ”home away from home” for over a dozen years and it never disappoints. Our recent stay was typical of our stays there over the years. Room was spotless clean. Beds were comfortable, grounds are clean. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast area is very comfortable with a nice selection of items. Always our first choice of a hotel when traveling through this area.

The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. I wish I could live there. Obviously they do a lot of remodeling. The room had a fridge, 2(!) hand sinks and was impeccable. Outside and inside the plants and decor were charming and the coffee area in the lobby well stocked and clean. Around the hotel are beautiful woods, and lots of convenient restaurants, pharmacies, and stores. Highly recommend

I have stayed here so many times, that at one point, it became familiar. My home away from home, if you will. It's changed within the last 2 years. I deeply miss Allison. I have a special condition which I never had to explain myself or plead for changes, when she worked there. Everywhere I travel, and it is a lot of places, I make a connection. It IS imperative for someone so fragile, that they have sustained more than 1,000 fractures, to have that connection with someone who understands and knows what needs to be done, prior to and during a stay. Allison was that person. No matter the situation she made it happen. I always got the end room, by the office. Didn't matter who was booked. It was best suited and the safest, for me and my care-giving team. But she's gone and now you simply get excuses. People booked in groups who don't require room for 20yr old power-chairs. They haven't even arrived yet but yet, I am there, struggling. Instead of of accessing the situation, I am shuffled down a corridor, with loud and obnoxiously intoxicated kids and their inebriated parents, for a game. This happened the time before my recent stay in June. Both instances, I was housed down the hall. So my 20 year old, no longer power chair, has to be manually pushed everywhere. Ever tried pushing a power chair manually on carpet? I'll wait. I guarantee you won't need to workout afterwards. One must learn in life a very valuable lesson. People are not burdens. Disabilities aren't their fault. And lastly, there's always, Always exceptions to most every rule. It's quite unfortunate that BW Braddock has severely missed this lesson.

Although the property is a bit dated, my stay was comfortable and the staff was friendly and accomodating. Although they offered breakfast, the only gluten-free option was instant oatmeal. It was not a problem for me as I picked up some groceries from the market but its something to be aware of for those with dietary needs. I was staying for 4 days as part of an extended trip so it fit my budget and the room was clean and comfortable.
