Absolutely wonderful stay, I can't say enough great things about the place. Stephen the general manager went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was good. The pillows and beds were comfortable. The place was extremely clean with everything that you would need for your stay. They have an on staff valet service, which was very timely and inconvenient for just a small up charge. The Rooms were very quiet. We did not hear any outside noise, although we knew that hotel was at capacity.

A fire alarm set it up so we were kicked out for a few hours. They should have done something to apologize for that…..a free breakfast….something for the inconvenience. We paid for the off menu breakfast……mistake. Food was sad. Poached eggs served in a bowl with water…eggs barely cooked. Coffee cup not clean. Service was ‘ meh’ the first two days….deteriorated on the third with mistakes by the waitress causing a long wait for our order to come out. We should have just gone to the Red Robin or the Waffle House which are both next door. Room was fine. And front desk staff were nice.

I stayed for two nights and my overall stay was average. My room was very nice and clean and the hotel overall was nice. However, I have a few things that are worth mentioning here. As a Lifetime Titanium Member, I have high expectations when I stay at a Renaissance. The first and very shocking thing is that I had no hot water. When I called downstairs they said that we do have hot water and that we just have to let it run for about 15-20 minutes before it will get warm. I did that and then I had a hot shower. This does seem a little ridiculous to me though. Both from a conservation standpoint as well as time. ( I arrived around 1am and was exhausted and ready for a quick shower and bed.) Further, this hotel staff needs some training and my even bigger complaint is about the restaurant. The front desk informed me that breakfast would be served in the restaurant until 11 AM. I received 1 breakfast voucher for two and was told that I could get another one the next day if I wanted to eat in the restaurant again. Breakfast the first day was mostly without incident, however it took a few people and way too long for me to receive the check. ( I had a voucher and my balance was zero. ) The next day, my sister and I arrived at the restaurant at about 10:40am and the floor was completely wet and had already been mopped up. Granted, there was no one in the restaurant, but I still didn’t expect this at this hour. There was nobody seated and we wanted to eat breakfast. There was no one to greet us at the door but then somebody spotted us, and then seated us. I told my sister about the incredible stuffed French toast that I had for breakfast the previous day and thus we ordered that and then afterwards we were told that we couldn’t get breakfast. So there is definitely some mis-communication here between the front desk and restaurant. In addition, the woman who seated us was extremely nasty and when we had expressed that the floor was being mopped at that moment she was rude to us and decided that she wouldn’t seat us and instead handed us off to someone else. This was completely inappropriate, unexpected and certainly doesn’t meet the Marriott standard. Afterwards, I went down to the front desk and talked to the front desk manager, Tiffany. She acknowledged that some training is needed at the front desk (and I definitely think it is needed in the restaurant!) and then I was accommodated me accordingly. The only other comment I’ll make is about the parking. It is very confusing and the parking is shared with the connecting venue. I was lost and I also don’t know if I’d want to walk downstairs in that long hallway alone late at night. Having said all of this, I would stay here again if I ever find myself in Allentown.

The check-in was fast and pleasant. The attendant even asked for my room preference and made suggestions. We were provided a list of the eateries in the area, which was very convenient. There was an unpleasant odor in the room at first, but nothing that the spray I brought with me couldn't fix. Everything met my expectations, except the lack of hot water. A nice hot shower would've been great after hitting the slopes. I'm not sure what the issue was, I was too tired to complain and seek resolution. I'd stay here again, but the next time, I will confirm that the hot water is available on arrival.

Soy un fanático fiel de Ctrip. ¡A cambio, están jugando así! ! ! ! ! Lo que me hizo vomitar más fue que la segunda noche que me quedé, simplemente fui a la habitación y tenía una nota en el piso de la habitación. Dijo que pagara el dinero, dijo que no pagó dinero, esta vez dije que lo revises de nuevo, el patrón se comunicó con la gorda por un rato, se comunicó por 2 minutos, la gorda me dijo que ya puedo volver, Dije lo que pasó, ella dijo malentendido, puedo irme. Confío en él y me lo envié en esa frase. Estoy muy enojado y no tengo intención de disculparme. Dije que Ctrip, los tres traficantes, pueden regular mejor a los socios. Mejorelo, líderes de Ctrip, también nos brindan algunos servicios de alta calidad, ¡y no se preocupen por nuestros fanáticos incondicionales como Ctrip! ! ! ! ¡está bien! ! ! ! !

Este era el hotel más sucio que he estado en. La habitación era horrible y grosera. ( era la habitación deluxe ) Las toallas estaban sucias y tenían cabello de huéspedes anteriores. La suciedad de piso se ahogó en el rincón. El a/c suena como un camión diesel. Podría pasar todo el día quejando. Deja que diga que no me quedaría de nuevo, incluso si fuera libre.

This hotel is very run down, not clean or taken care of at all. There is a large infestation of German cockroaches offered to change rooms after they were everywhere but it only got worse. We didn’t stay and on the way out the activities happening there we were glad we did not. The only reason I did not rate as terrible is because the individual at the front desk was very accommodating and understanding. We are not picky individuals when it comes to a quick overnight stop but this was not suitable for even a quick sleep.

My family and I have been here for a couple months due to the pandemic and when I tell you that all we get treated here is with respect and humbleness. The owner is really stepping it up fixing everything in this building I’m so glad that someone bought this building and did an amazing job with that it’s very very clean. I have a four-year-old and I am very protective of my child my safety here also and it’s really quiet and safe here. I would definitely recommend to families! No other place Made us feel like family. Except here it’s nothing but family and humbleness.
