We checked in on the 12th of December 2023. First impression was wonderful. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink served by Paulo. He was very welcoming and friendly. After we were done with our drink we were taken to our room 118 and showed around by Liana. She was very well spoken and friendly. The room was well cleaned and well organized. The beds are comfortable and we were able to sleep well. Breakfast is an all rounder and delicious. The chef is friendly and the same goes for the servers. The Hotel was quite for the first couple of days and everything was wonderful. The GM, Pramodh came around every Breakfast to check in and see if everything was still going well. On the 17th December we had a relaxing day by the hotel and it's wonderful pool. At 15h00pm our room was not serviced yet and we went to the reception to ask for toilet paper and water. The receptionist Tina advised that she would send it to our room. After 4 attempts and going back to the reception and 6 hours later we were still not able to get basic amenities like toilet paper and water to be sent to our room. Tina was not willing to assist and was more consigned eating and relaxing than to arrange service or getting the amenities to our room. April the server was so kind to immediately arrange it agter waiting for 6 hours for it to arrive. On the 19th December the Hotel had a party at the pool bar that was extremely loud. As non of the rooms have any sound proof or sound control and our room was located right across the party we were not able to hear the TV with the music and screaming of the people. At 11h15pm the music was still going loudly and I went out to go and complain as we did not get any notice about the party or a time it will stop. I went to go ask the GM when he is planning on telling us about the party and when it will be over. He informed me it will be after 11h30pm. As we could not sleep or hear anything other than the party we waited till 11h45 and went to ask them to please switch off the music. I informed them that it is completely unacceptable to not take any consideration to their in-house guests and we came here to relax. On 22nd December we moved rooms as they were having another big party and advised us that they will be playing live music till 1am. They moved us into room 111. The room had a mold smell in it and was definitely not ready for service with the smell and nor was the aircon working. They were still doing maintenance on the porch at the back and was using the porch as a storage unit. The mini fridge was so badly stained that i did not feel comfortable placing any of our drinks in the fridge. As it is very hot here we were not able to stay without an ac so we had to pack up once again and moved to another room. Verda our room attended was kind enough to assist us in moving for the 2nd time in 1 day. We could also not join for dinner as the whole restaurant was occupied by a private function and the in-house guests had to eat som

We arrived on an early flight from Mahe and Natasha had kindly organised a airport transfer with great guy called Emmanuel . We were greeted with a fruit juice and friendly member of staff when we arrived at Palm Beach. They kindly allowed us to relax by the pool until we could access our room. We had a ground floor room with verandah doors to the pool. Very comfortable bed and good air conditioning but the room was tired and the bathroom really required updating especially its plumbing !! We ate in the restaurant on the first night but it was expensive and mediocre. The breakfast was okay but limited. The hotel reception organised for Emmanuel to take us out for a day trip which brilliant and Emmanuel was very obliging dropping us off and meeting us again as and when required. In the other evenings we walked into Grande Anse and would highly recommend the Reggae Bar for great local food especially the Friday night BBQ and live band.

You'll feel like home in a very short time. Ujjwal, Munna, and the whole team turned my stay into 12 blissful days. My terrace was merely 15 metres from the rolling waves, and the restaurant was even closer. I booked half board. The breakfast had all you could imagine. Fresh fruit, and fresh fruit juice, eggs in all varieties, pancakes (I still dream of!), toast, marmalade, all served in an open-air part of the restaurant, where I could watch the tide come in. Dinner was even better! I could chose from every meal on the menu. I worked my way through the menu (starters and main dish), and in 12 evenings I had 10 different dishes (Indian, and Creole) on my table. On the first couple of evenings, I had bananas cooked in syrup, and later I switched to different kinds of ice cream. Not to forget the Cocktails, and Mocktails, of course! The list is short, but very quickly I found my favourite there. Although I like alcohol a lot, my favourite was a mocktail with no alcohol, the ”Le Relax Garden”. Don't miss this one! The room had all I needed (and even more). A large bed where I slept very good, and very long. A bathroom perfectly eqipped for all needs. A verandah with a nice view. A large garden with a lot of trees, flowers, and not to forget the birds! As I am a keen bird watcher, I found Seychelles Sunbird, Madagascar Fody, Indian Mynah, Seychelles Bulbul, Seychelles Fruit Pigeon, Seychelles Barred Ground Dove, and on one day even a family of five (!) Seychelles Black Parrots. And the garden had flying mammals as well: every evening I could see endemic Fruit Bats flying around a large Indian Almond Tree, trying to get ripe fruit.

Si coges el ferry, termina al final de la isla. Una vez entras al resort, no queda mucho tiempo para salir hasta el final de tu itinerario. Si vas a ver la isla o hacer una excursión de un día a La Digue, te recomiendo alquilar un coche. Las instalaciones son de primer nivel. ¿Reserva natural? Debido a esto, hay algunos insectos voladores, pero afortunadamente no hay mosquitos. Puedes ver muchas gallinas, pavos reales, lagartos y tortugas dentro del resort. Si te inscribes en un tour ecológico, podrás escuchar explicaciones de la flora y fauna del resort junto con la explicación de un guía. La mayoría de los servicios dentro del resort (cena, spa, etc.) requieren reserva previa, y reservar incluso con un día de antelación es casi imposible. Le recomendamos consultar los servicios prestados online con antelación y realizar la reserva el día de su llegada. Vayas donde vayas, hay mucho personal, son muy amables y comprueban las condiciones de las habitaciones con tanta frecuencia que resulta una carga. Curiosamente, cuando había alguien allí, siempre llamaban y entraban. Si no quieres que te molesten, deberás avisarnos con antelación al realizar el check-in. Hay varias playas dentro del complejo y todas son hermosas. Se pueden alquilar todo tipo de material para deportes acuáticos, así como tenis, golf, etc., para que si te gusta el ejercicio puedas disfrutarlo. Anse Georgette es realmente bonita, así que definitivamente ve allí. Sin embargo, aquí también hay algunas olas, así que ve cuando hace buen tiempo.
