Decided to try Chalaroste despite the comments wherein the bathroom stinks, daming langaw, sira lock ng door, etc. and it was not a regret that we booked this resort because it was amaaaazing! we availed the standard room.
It has tv, mini ref, toiletries (towels, tissues, soap, shampoo, toothbrushes & toothpaste), water heater since may coffee and creamer provided, bottled water. lahat yan is good for 2 na. mabango rin ung cr sa loob ng room, no issues at all. May wifi rin!
Complete na rin sa common kitchen, no worries na mag aagawan since they provided lots of plates kalderos and the like, lulutuin na lang dalhin.
Mabato ung beach but the infinity pool did not disappoint! Ang ganda lalo na sa gabi. May signage na u can use the pool until 9 or 10 pm yata but the staff let us swim there until 1 am. There are tables near the pool which overlooks the beach na maganda mag chill! Pet friendly also ❤️
Overall, I loved the place! It felt like the price was too cheap for such a resort that has a complete amenities. Literal na sarili mo na lang at pagkain dalhin mo.

On april 5 at 10pm i called their reservation front desk to confirm if theres available room and also our company discount. I wasnt able to get the name of the front desk who answered my call but instruction me to send sms of my info. On April 6, i went to the hotel to early check in but the apologized because if cannot see my name on their reservation list. instead of declining me, front desk personnel YNA made a way to look for available room for my family 💖 Im just so happy of their effort for going and beyond. Its my first time staying on this hotel and sury will come back. I love their rooms, and pool, their Buffet area is superb. The only thing i dont like is their Bathroom, it becomes flooded when u take a bath Lol. The sink is not fixed. aircon should not be centralized u need to call front desk to adjust the temp.

CChrisT808Another fantastic visit to the Olana which they descibe as your home away from home and it truly is. We have lovely clean room with all amenities accessed directly from the garden and are treated like family. Smiling and friendly staff cant do enough for you as you enjoy your stay by the sea. Since my last visit they have added a swimming pool and jacuzzi along with large 2 storey traditional huts with tables and chairs for relaxing in the shade. Breakfast can be taken in the restaurant or in a Nippa hut overlooking the sea,I marvel that I am by the South China Sea with a gentle breeze blowing watching the local fishermen in their boats while enjoying a hearty breakfast. This area has do much to offer and the owners of the Olana have ensured they hit the mark when it comes to ensuring you enjoy your experience with them,can't wait to go back again.

We stayed for 2N/3D in this hotel. We booked via the hotel's website. Two adults and 2 kids ages (11 and 13). We were told that in their policy 13 year olds are considered an adult. KZ the front desk officer after explaining to her about their website extended the courtesy not to charge us extra. She even offered to give us extra pillows. But when we asked for extra towels they were charging us ₱1,000.00/ day per person. Since we are 4 and they only give 2 towels, that means I have to pay ₱4,000.00! Isn't that amazing?! Amazingly weird and infuriating! In the evening we returned from the wake of a friend's father. When I approached the front desk to ask for the pillows. She asked me a question that I thought was settled already when we checked in. For a moment I thought I was in a hospital being asked by residents and student nurses about my medical history over and over again. I was so tired from the long drive from Manila to Pangasinan and driving back and forth from Urdaneta (where the hotel is) to Tayug (where the wake was being held). So my patience is so short that I snapped at the lady and told her to not ask me anymore about the age of my kids as we have settled it when we checked-in. To me there is no point in asking that and it does not make them sound professional. Then the horror came the next morning. At around 9 or 10 AM the housekeeping started knocking on our door. That obviously woke us all up! Since we slept around 2am, we were all still sleeping. So I got out of the bed to check if the knocking was on our door or from the other rooms, He knocked and announced housekeeping a couple of times. Since I was still half a sleep I didn't answer back. To my surprise, he opened our door to enter!!! Never in my life have I experienced this intrusion in all of my stays in hotels here and abroad! I do not have to hang the do not disturb sign for house keeping to know that I do not want to be disturbed! If I wanted to have our room cleaned or be made up, I will hang the sign that says ”Please make up the room”! If there is no instruction left on the door, you have no right to just barge into our room! So when he opened it, I slammed the door back to close it! And yelled and asked why he has to do that?! We are still sleeping! As a result of that experience, we felt especially my kids that we are not safe in the hotel. There was not even a double lock on the doors for instances like this. Because of that we had to bring all our things with us when we went back to the wake and just left our clothes. When we got down, I went straight to Gabriel, the front desk personnel on duty that morning and inquired about their policy when it comes to housekeeping. Simply put, he said that it was not the policy of the hotel to just go in. Of course! They know that room 603 was occupied that day! Why would they do that! As I have said, this in not the first time we've checked-in in a hotel. We are even Accor Plus m

LLisett GarciaI recently stayed at Spotlight Hotel in Alaminos, Philippines, and while there were some positive aspects, I feel there is room for improvement.
The staff and receptionist were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which was the highlight of our stay. They went out of their way to assist us with our luggage and provided helpful services throughout our visit, which we greatly appreciated.
However, the cleanliness of the bathroom was disappointing. There were noticeable molds on the walls, and the drainage emitted an unpleasant smell, which impacted our comfort. Additionally, the lack of an elevator made it challenging to move around, especially with heavy luggage.
I also found the lost key policy to be a bit strict. We were charged 500 pesos (around $8.58), which felt a bit excessive for the situation.
While I appreciate the efforts of the staff, addressing these concerns would significantly enhance the experience for future guests.

UUsuario invitadoPunta Riviera Beach Resort was so accommodating when we arrived at about 2 A.M. after a long drive into Bolinao. They really saved our ”tail feathers” when our 1st booking choice was not as advertised. (Yes, that’s a veiled snarky comment referring to a “competitor resort”. Be forewarned.) However, it ended up being a blessing in disguise. The resort owners & staff are very courteous & friendly. (Shout out to Ian, his lovely wife, & the manager Jonathan!) Not to mention they are very knowledgeable about sights to see & activities to do in the area. The house band at their beachfront bar was awesome! The lead singers have quite a set of pipes & I loved their rendition of the song Bodyshot. There are many facilities and amenities on the property such as a pool, small billiards hall, a karaoke room, lookout areas to admire the nearby scenery.- just to name a few. (Also if you happen to be a smoker- while the rooms are nonsmoking- there are designated smoking areas in the communal areas.) However, these are all bonuses in comparison to the warm Filipino hospitality! Thank you Punta Riviera for making our stay such a fun and pleasant one! Keep up the good work!
