«Located right beside SM City Mall with a side stairs that closed at 12am. There is Starbucks there also ! The shower water taste ok unlike another resort I stayed which is salty. Hotel in the middle of everything like mall / clubs / restaurants. Recommend it.
Cons: called for room service at 10pm but take a long time to pick up. Also take some time to send up the stuffs we requested for. Also the toilet flush is very weak so I wouldn’t recommend you to throw any tissue in.
Oh ya and there is a 7-11 nearby maybe 5-6 mins walk but I think it’s abit scammy. Only can paid by cash and also 1 night when I only have limited cash while the staff scanned the items. He told me I cannot remove the item or else he have to pay with his own pocket money ??? And told us to withdraw money. So we withdraw and paid and I even confirmed with the hotel staff, they told me the cashier can just remove the item in the system and do not need to use their own pocket money to cover.»

Fuimos al hotel y nos preguntaron la guardia qué habitación, ya que me reservaba con trip.com y es mi primera vez que no sabía realmente lo que quería decir. Así que esperamos más o menos de 30 minutos. Entonces la guardia llamó al propietario, luego fue bien desde allí. Entonces, al comprobar la habitación, el manto es bueno sólo para 1 persona. Uno de los cojines no tiene caso. Entonces no podemos acceder a la televisión 'porque no puede llegar al socket, y no hay extensión para ello. También hay un wifi pero no sabemos cómo conectarlo. No podíamos conectar con el propietario también. Pero el resto de la estancia es buena, La ubicación del lugar y la unidad es muy agradable.»

«Situado a lo largo de la autopista y cerca del Parque IT Cebu y del Waterfront Cebu City Hotel y ******. Reservé aquí desde que asisti a un concierto en Waterfront con mis hermanas.
Espero que los propietarios renoven este hotel porque las habitaciones son viejas. La ducha no funciona. Las cabezas de ducha no se limpian. Ellos tienen una paleta y un dipper en el baño. No hay bidet. Aircon funciona bien y las camas están bien pero nada especial.
El restaurante/cafe en el piso de la planta es un buen restaurante filipino, pero el personal necesita formación, demasiados de ellos se quedan en el restaurante, se quedan y sólo se conversan.
La entrada fue rápida, pero el tiempo de entrada fue a las 2:45. Arrivé a las 12:45 y el personal del escritorio me dio la llave después de llenar los formularios. No se necesitaba depósito de seguridad.

JJude O.The hotel is located in Brgy Apas and next to Cebu IT Park business establishments. Great stay for solo traveler. Accessible to public transpo and malls. It also had a great view from the 6th floor, where I stayed. They only serve simple plated meal though for breakfast since they're a 3-star hotel however, the food is satisfying. They're staffs are, friendly, helpful and courteous. I would come back here whenever I am in Cebu...

RRyanMaxI enjoyed my stay at Amber Hotel - Cebu while exploring the town proper has to offer. The hotel was centrally located, making it easy to walk to local attractions, markets, or restaurants in Cebu City. The room was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the tropical heat. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist with directions or recommendations. While the hotel doesn't have extensive leisure, the comfortable rooms and convenient location more than made up for it. The breakfast was satisfactory, though perhaps a bit limited in its Western options. Overall, a great base for experiencing the local charm of Cebu City.

Mini-Bar is complimentary with a selection of 2 local beers, juices, and sodas. Nespresso machine with 4 capsules. TWG tea. Bottled water is unlimited. I appreciate the fridge being very cold.
Gerlain Paris branded bathroom amenities, as well as bath salts for the large bath.
Afternoon Tea (2:30 pm - 4:30 pm)
Light snacks with a limited selection of savory and sweet bites, they need to improve on this.
Evening cocktails and canapés (5:30 pm - 7:30 pm)
Excellent food buffet. I like the lechon quesadillas, jalapeño cheese poppers, and siomai. I appreciate the bartender crafting cocktails from a menu of drinks.
I understand the hotel is still brand new, but they need to do multiple inspections before releasing the room to guest. Vanity mirror was dusty from construction.
The Butler service was very attentive, many thanks to Ice (Butler) for making my stay pleasant, he would escort me to the pool, and even breakfast buffet at Fili Hotel bypassing the crowd at the entrance.
Breakfast Buffet is at Fili Hotel which is extensive and one of the best in Cebu. The problem is the crowd, while Nustar Butlers will escort Nustar guests to a table, there’s no dedicated tables for Nustar guests, which confuses the restaurant staff with seating assignments. Alternatively, the breakfast buffet at the executive club lounge is quiet but with limited options, they should have an a la carte menu to expand options like other international luxury hotels.
The security at the lobby entrance is wildly inconvenient and inconsistent, every time you enter you need to prove you’re a guest of Nustar and not a guest of Fili or a casino player. It’s weird that they are sometimes overly strict and many times just ignore people passing by. Guests have a keycard to use elevators what’s the point of the guards that have a list of people’s names and room numbers, if anything that’s a security risk.
The pool service is lacking. Shared between 2 hotels and the upcoming grand summit. The pool area lacks service of a 5-star hotel, towels need to be claimed at a towel hut. My expectation is that there are staff that will setup loungers with towels for guests. And since the pool facility is shared with the muncher large Fili Hotel it can get crowded. Fortunately, Nustar has a private infinity pool which was closed my stay.
Nustar Resort has potential to be Cebu’s most luxurious hotel, they have the hard product with their spacious luxurious rooms, but they need to improve their soft product - the service from the butlers are outstanding and personal, but everyone else seems to be lost. For the asking price of 250-300 usd per night there’s a lot to expect.
Nustar is primed for excellence but falls just short of achieving refined luxury. I’m hoping Nustar partners with Marriott and rebrand under Luxury Collection. Or even Hyatt with Unbound Collection.

Recientemente tuve el placer de alojarme en 1075 Dormitel en Cebú y no puedo recomendarlo lo suficiente. Desde el momento en que puse un pie en el hotel, me recibieron con cálidas sonrisas y una hospitalidad excepcional. Los miembros del personal hicieron todo lo posible para garantizar que mi estancia fuera cómoda y agradable.
Las habitaciones del 1075 Dormitel son acogedoras y están bien equipadas, lo que proporciona un refugio tranquilo después de un largo día explorando la hermosa ciudad de Cebú. Las camas eran increíblemente cómodas, garantizando un sueño reparador. También me impresionó la limpieza y la atención al detalle en todo el hotel.
Una de las características más destacadas de este hotel es su conveniente ubicación. Situado en el corazón de Cebú, ofrece fácil acceso a atracciones populares, centros comerciales y una vibrante vida nocturna. Los miembros del personal siempre estuvieron dispuestos a ayudar con cualquier consulta o solicitud, brindando recomendaciones personalizadas sobre atracciones locales y opciones gastronómicas. Realmente se preocuparon por hacer que mi estadía fuera memorable y se aseguraron de que cada aspecto de mi visita superara mis expectativas.

TTheo StanI had the pleasure of staying at the Tsai Hotel and Residences, and it was an experience worth noting. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming staff and seamless check-in process set the tone for a pleasant stay. The location is fantastic, offering proximity to key attractions, dining options, and shopping areas, making it ideal for leisure and business travelers alike.
The room was immaculate, with modern furnishings that combined comfort and functionality. The bed was plush and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep. I particularly appreciated the spacious bathroom and the availability of essential amenities that catered to every need. The Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable, which was a great plus for staying connected.
The hotel's common areas, including the lobby and dining spaces, were well-maintained and exuded a sophisticated yet cozy ambiance. The breakfast selection was varied and delicious, featuring local and international dishes that appealed to all palates. The in-house restaurant staff was attentive and ensured a delightful dining experience.
What truly set the Tsai Hotel apart was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, always greeting me with warm smiles and a willingness to assist with any request.
While everything was close to perfect, a minor improvement could be enhancing soundproofing in the rooms to block out occasional street noise. Nonetheless, this did not significantly detract from my overall experience.
I highly recommend the Tsai Hotel and Residences to anyone visiting the area. It offers excellent value for money, a prime location, and impeccable service that guarantees a memorable stay. I am looking forward to returning on my next trip!

FFulgencio Polthe place is just out a bit from the city center but it is jst beside the road, a few japanese restaurant in the area, burger king and jollibee is also a walking distance. the staff are friendly they will let you checkin an hour early but very strick on check out. I ask to clean my room while I was away early but when I return about 11:30 still not clean and they cane around 2 pm already I was in the room and resting so just refuse to let them in. bed is good firm and soft pillow with heavy blanket. AC is working somehow I heard water dropping from the top I think its from the other aircon drain. string water pressure had a hot water its just take a while before it get hot. had a bedit and kettle.

Hace poco me alojé en el hotel Richmond y quería compartir mi opinión sobre la experiencia. Si bien hubo aspectos que aprecié, hubo algunas áreas que podrían mejorar.
Alojamiento (3/5): La habitación estaba limpia y amueblada adecuadamente, pero parecía un poco anticuada. La ropa de cama era cómoda y la habitación se mantuvo limpia durante toda mi estancia. Sin embargo, una renovación de la habitación podría mejorar la experiencia general.
Instalaciones (3/5): Las instalaciones del hotel eran funcionales pero demasiado viejas, el aire acondicionado es demasiado ruidoso 4/5 que no puedes dormir. Las luces son demasiado viejas y provocan un sobrecalentamiento.
