The BoMC resort is truly in a fantastic location and is working hard to make themselves a 5 star resort. We stayed 3 nights in the Kereru suite which had a private deck with hot tub, included breakfast and dinner, and a welcome charcuterie board and nice champagne. Although expensive on a per night stay, we thought it was probably priced about right. What could have been improved was a bit of customer service attention to detail and a major improvement on the dining. My girlfriend booked a massage on our relaxation day and when she showed up at the spa they had no record of her massage and they were full. When she called and rebooked an appointment for later in the afternoon, they still never received the booking, but were able to squeeze her in. The only laundry facility on property was down for maintenance while we stayed there (in the middle of a 3 week NZL trip), but the staff recovered and finished our laundry in the staff laundry area. My big gripe was the dining service. We stayed at BoMC during the prime holiday season where everyone brought their families. As an adult couple, I would have hoped that the 5 course dinner wouldn't have included 10-12 five year olds running around the dining area and making noise constantly. I don't have a problem with the resort hosting families, but they do have two dining rooms (one up and one down) and they could easily accommodate families in one and adults in another with minimal distractions. Easy fix. Please consider it for future guests.

This is a review for their restaurant, not for their accommodation. I did the Queen Charlotte Trail from Ship Cove. After 5 hours of hiking, was happy to sit down and have a great lunch, and they delivered! Despite the remote location, they have quite an interesting and varied menu. And the food was very well cooked. Seafood chowder was delicious. Lots of seafood inside. Almost a main sized portion, can be a good lunch on its own for one person. Market fish of the day was delicious, and was some species I'd never heard of before, but was from the local Marlborough Sounds. Fish and chips were good, albeit nothing special. Using gurnard fish, also from the local Marlborough Sounds. Pricing was very good ($33-42 mains) considering the remote location of the restaurant, and also for the portion sizes. Dining environment was more bar/pub dining room like, rather than fine dining. They accept reservations. Officially, last order for lunch is at 2:30pm, but we arrived a bit late at like 2:45pm and still managed to get food orders in.

Limpio. El servicio es muy bueno. Lugar tranquilo. Sin embargo, los vecinos adyacentes son muy buenos. La televisión se abre hasta media noche a las 1:40, el sonido de la música moderna que se apaga. Uno a los minutos se pulsa la puerta y se desliza. Me pareció esperar a que el segundo codo cayera, esperar a que no se torturaran.Hasta que empezaron las 1:40, se fue! ¿Qué pasa?!

Este lugar es el lugar más inútil que haya sido, son inútiles y servicios de clientes muy malos, especialmente la dama que ella falsos anuncios le dice una historia diferente que es falsa publicidad que no pertenecen a ella y son los servicios de clientes más inútiles Allí afuera actitud huele y voy a asegurar que todos lo saben si alguien quiere saber que puedo enviar o e-mail tus cosas de la dama que son falsas como los días y también los registros de la persona de lo inútil que es que viajo del norte Isla y tener un trabajo a tiempo completo en Blenheim y porque estaba recibiendo trabajo y ingresos para pagar por mi depósito y bono y todo lo que tenía que esperar por el trabajo y el ingreso para volver a mí sobre eso entonces me encargo de esta mala text de esa dama que mi alojamiento cayó a través cuando se tomaron edad ellos mismos sólo para volver a mí he encontrado un mejor alojamiento y mucho mejor camino entonces waikawa no son muy bueno en absoluto y se asegurarán de que todos saben que buen trabajo

We recently walked the Queen Charlotte Sounds over five days as a family and choose to make the 1 hour walk down off the track and stay the last night at Lochmara. So glad we did, our children loved this place. There is so much for them to do here; from the animal tour, exploring the extensive grounds, through to using the kayaks/stand-up paddle boards in their sheltered bay. The food was excellent with a wide range on the menu and the staff were incredibly accommodating with any requests. Then to top it all off, the soak in the bath house relieved the aches and pains before our last 18km on the track. Thanks to Chris and Nicki for your hospitality and the kids voted you guys #1 of all the places we stayed.

We had a Studio apartment with ensuite and own cooking facilities. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. There was no microwave in the room which was very small with a table and 2 chairs outside on the balcony. We were close to the office and disturbed by guests arriving past 10pm and talking loudly. I was able to use the microwave in the shared kitchen. We did not think it was good value for the money when compared to other places we stayed at. However we were well located to catch the early morning ferry across to Wellington which was a priority. Next time I wd stay a little further out and catch a later ferry. We got much better value accommodation in Wellington.

Dos días en Sokcho, vivir en Ramada se siente muy cómodo. Hay una calle de sashimi en la puerta. El pescado del mercado se come inmediatamente. Es muy agradable comer sashimi. El hotel está junto al mar y el paisaje es muy bueno. Puedes caminar hasta el faro cuando bajes las escaleras. Está muy cerca del lugar de rodaje de ”Boyfriend”, donde el protagonista masculino se sienta y lee bajo el faro. Shocho es un buen lugar. Los mariscos son mucho más baratos en Seúl. El paisaje también es muy bueno. La próxima vez que vengas a Sokcho, elegirás Ramada.

Enjoyed cooked and continental breakfast.Lower part of shower curtains need bleaching cos yellowy coloured mould growing. Cigarettes butts on ground straight outside our front sliding balcony door! One darkhaired female pakeha housekeeper had an attitude by her body language...should leave that at home! Otherwise very helpful staff who treated us like they would like to be treated. No milk left in our room on arrival or daily supply. Our prepaid booking was for daily housekeeping.Overall comfortable stay...mattress ,pillows and bedding. Nice hot showers. Enjoyed using heated outdoor pool in all weather conditions. Socialising with some other guests. We want to return for a longer holiday! Thank you.

We just loved it here! it was without question the best accomodation we had whilst in NZ. We were offed a complementary glass of wine nibbles on arrival. The room was so tastefully decorated and massive joined by a very generous bathroom with freestanding bathtub & shower. Our host could not do enough to assist us (she is also the chef😋Our bed was turned down, the breakfast was absolutely delicious & generous we just loved it! Shared balcony off our room overlooking the marina & right in the heart of town. We would definitely come again!!! The only thing that was missing was a fridge(which of course would not fit in with the style of the room).
