We chose to stay here whilst attending a wedding party with relatives. We had struggled to find a hotel in Groningen as there was a famous band playing and accommodation was either scarce or expensive. So although a little drive away, this hotel fitted the bill. There is free parking for guests and this is located around the hotel block. The reception staff were friendly and booking in was convenient and hassle free. The rooms are well presented and clean, with shower rooms and tea and coffee making facilities available. Within the complex there are a number of bars and restaurants as well as play areas and an arcade area. Although we never participated, there was entertainment and children’s activities on offer as well as swimming, bikes to hire, a spa and bowling. In our country we would call this a holiday camp rather than a hotel. The buffet breakfast was lovely and lots of outdoor seating available. We loved our stay here and although brief, we would consider coming back should we have a need to visit The Netherlands in the future. Thank you 🙏

Horrible service. Unhelpful and quite frankly rude. I had emailed the hotel to say that we would be arriving after 11pm for check in. I received a polite reply that said, ” That is no problem”. I continued to keep the hotel informed va email once we left Amsterdam. They did not inform us that there was a fesival in thier town and that it would be difficult to get to the hotel. After driving around for an hour and asking several people, I phoned the Hotel directly. The man who I spoke too was the most unfriendly, unsympathetic and unhelpful person. He basically said that it would be impossible to get to the hotel and that he could not help us. When I pressed for more information, he suggested I park the car anywhere that I can find a place and walk to the hotel. When I asked how far away we were and how long it would take to to walk to the hotel, he laughed and said that it would take us all night. Very disappointing and disheartening when we had 2 rooms booked and paid 691 euros (345.50 euros per room; 1 comfort double and 1 comfort twin). We arrived approximately 15 minutes later (around 3am!). I explained that the service was terrible in getting there. They tried to blame it on all the drunk people at the festival when in fact, the service from the hotel was unsatisfactory. The rooms were comfortable and breakfast was good (at the restaurant across the street) but we were only there for a few hours. The service of the staff in the morning made up for the unacceptable, rude, unprofessional and unhelpful man from the night before. He should not be working in the tourism industry. Disappointingly, this was our first time staying at this hotel and it will be the last. Which is a shame as we like to support small, family run businesses. I do not recommend staying here during the weekend that we stayed in June. We were there for the MotoGP and will stay elsewhere next time. I suggest you do the same.

Cuando lo mencioné, llegaron a la conclusión de que podría haber sido un buen plan... El restaurante es decente pero no espectacular. El servicio en el restaurante es bueno. Extra: El hotel cuenta con muchas estaciones de carga para EV.

Hospitality at its best! Our first stay in this hotel was in summer of 2022, we stayed here during our visits to some family and friends and we asked for a room with less EMF radiation and that is exactly what we got. The receptionists are so professional and accommodating, tthey were always ready to provide as help for extra information. The hotel has a pool and they won't shoo you off in case you overstayed your time in it. The restaurant is a jewel in this hotel. We had a wonderful experience from breakfast to fine dining during our stay. We take our hat off the hotel chef assigned for breakfast as well as the crew during our stay here. The chef is very attentive to the guest, he was never out of freshly grilled tomatoes or sunny side up fried eggs which you don't usually encounter in any other hotels we stayed in. You don't have to ask for a refill because he does this automatically with all smiles and passion. I also noticed that on the day a guest was with a kid, there were mini pancakes served. I am not a fan of pancakes but I had three of them that same day because they were a yum! As for dinner, the food is divine, it is worth every penny especially for non meat eaters, one could tell a lot of attention and passion were put in them despite the fact that it was buffet, grilled meat and fish were fresh and warm. As for the crew, you don't have to ask them to provide you utensils on your table, it is all done automatically and professionally. We take our hat off to the whole crew and the management of this hotel for being so organized and for providing guests and extra great service! We hope that you would stay as so! Het restaurant Eva was fantastisch. De voorgerechten en hoofdgerechten werden prachtig opgediend en smaakten voortreffelijk. Prijs kwaliteitverhouding erg goed. Ook hebben we de bediening als plezierig ervaren. De verwarmde stoelen op het terras waren comfortabel.

Nunca había comido en este hermoso hotel, aparte de un agradable almuerzo hace mucho tiempo, fue el 1 de enero y traté de encontrar más... el hotel familiar. Fue un momento de buscar en la sala grande, pero con alguna ayuda encontramos una agradable mesa junto a la ventana. fue un poco difícil llamar la atención del servicio, pero la cena estaba bien. Comíamos una comida no y una comida vegetariana, y ambos estaban bien, y las porciones también eran suficientes, y el precio tampoco cayó en contra.
