A great place to stay with a country feel - there is a functional dairy onsite. Our triple room was so big and functionally laid out compared to many other places we have stayed - we were in the newer part of the guesthouse. Our room had a great view of the mountains/glacier. The onsite bistro was so convenient, and food was tasty and affordable. They even offer a packed lunch (additional cost). Staff were extremely friendly, and provided complementary coffee/tea all day. There are even separate sitting/lounge areas throughout the guesthouse where you can relax, and a separate kitchen area for guests to use (including fridge). I would definitely stay here again.

Este hotel es en realidad una casa de familia, a un kilómetro de la carretera principal. Hay cuatro habitaciones como esta, llegamos tarde ese día 🉐, ¡así que el anfitrión deduce el dinero primero! ! ! Y el propietario entra a la habitación a las 11 en punto a tiempo para limpiar la habitación, ¡lo cual es un poco increíble! Estábamos tan llenos que pospusimos cinco minutos para salir así

Krasse Lage, hat mich mehr an ein Horrorhaus erinnert. Zumal es sehr abgelegen ist und der Weg über eine ca. 4-5 Kilometer lange Schotterpiste führt. Definitiv nicht zu empfehlen, wenn man Angst alleine oder sogar zu zweit hat (da sehe abgelgen).

El personal de servicio es un hombre y una mujer, y son muy llamativos, lo que me hace muy útil para este tipo de control facial. La actitud del servicio también es más cálida que la de la recepción promedio, y la buena voluntad se duplica repentinamente. El desayuno es bueno, hay muchas razas y el lindo perrito pastor es muy inteligente y se porta muy bien. Las instalaciones de las habitaciones son muy completas, la decoración de las habitaciones también es muy nueva, estacionamiento gratuito, lo recomiendo mucho.

1.) This is NOT a 3 star hotel. The accommodations are very meager. 2.) The staff did NOT warn us about the Sandflies in the area upon check in. By midnight, our room was infested with these bugs that bite and itch. We had to leave in the middle of the night to make our return to Reykjavik to escape this situation. 3.) There was a bunch of horse dung outside our window as well that was disgusting and likely exasperated the sand fly problem. I emailed the owners and never heard a response.

The location is spectacular, off the main road with views of the mountains. Evening meal was ok, breakfast was acceptable. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. The highlight was seeing the aurora, its remote positioning meant that we had perfect views of the phenomena.

因為約了第二天去看冰洞，發現這裏離集合地點才46公里，雖然是要走回頭路，因為價格算是性價比最高的了，於是就訂下來了。 晚上10點才到冰河湖，拍照後到酒店已經11點半，發現酒店後面就是一個大冰川，從房間的窗户就完全可以看到躺在床上還發現屋頂上有一個天窗，躺在床上就能看星空和極光！ 空間確實有點小（冰島酒店的普遍現象！），但是麻雀雖小 五臟俱全，我們在房間做了晚餐。浴室裏有地暖，很不錯👍

Clean, spacious, well equipt, family friendly and good customer service! 😊 Tough times are a blessing in disguise, it always reveals the true color of the people around us. We planned to stay in 2020 however Covid happened. Team was very understanding and accommodating to our predicament. It was a happy surprise to find premise exceeding our expectations too! Shoes are well organised with rack and oraginsers neatly stacked at entrance. Reception was friendly and informative. Room was clean and neat. In room wash basin was a big plus! There were 2 spacious and well equipt WCs to our section of 6-8rooms. 2 spacious dining areas, 1 large double fridge, 1 single fridge, spacious well equipt kitchen with various prep tables and 2-3+ sinks, pots/pans of various sizes, kitchen towels, utensils, cutleries, hot water dispenser, toaster, coffee percolator, sandwich press, oven, microwave, beverages and absolutely all one needs in the kitchen and more are furnished. It is also children friendly with baby chair, cot and safe play area provided. Rooms are well sectioned with family rooms assigned at the back, away from the hustle and bustle. There are also rooms in basement. There is also a washer/dryer and small drying rack at the far end, past kitchens and book cabinet with reading materials for the avid reader. We had a good comfortable night stay and hope you do too! 🙂

Pros: - breakfast spread was good overall and includes a coffee machine for custom brews - good experience checking in, reception staff offered great recommendation for dinner (Hotel Hofn) - loft arrangement with two double beds was well designed for limited space - very clean and upkept room, chocolates on towels a nice touch - though room only had one bathroom, one in the eating area is available for use and was very clean also Cons: - lots of steps and tight fit up stairs to loft area (best suited for kids and those without mobility issues) - during busy breakfast time, refill rate for some items such as croissants is slow - property/rooms on the smaller side, no amenities like hot tub, etc. Summary: A niche and neat property conversion of an old milk factory. We enjoyed our stay and everything was pleasant overall with very good use of limited space. Would recommend as an option as the loft is more affordable than two separate rooms, thus presents an excellent value proposition. Very accurate to average rating on the site so far.
