First of all, the name is correct. I had a great view of the Rock Fort from my room, and I was only on the 1st floor! The rooms are clean and spacious and quite comfortable. There is even a fridge with a minibar (although I did not use it). Not that generous in terms of complimentary items, but adequate. There is a restaurant on the ground floor (this is where breakfast is served) and another on the roof top. Menus are extensive but optimistic! Nice view, but bring a torch if you want to read the menu. The front desk staff are helpful in making arrangements but (at least with one of them) do be alert that you get the right change.

A couple of days back, we had arranged a get-together at the hotel. A few days before the party, we contacted the guest relation manager, Patricia, for assistance. She was very polite and helpful. And although she was away on a pilgrimage on the day of the get-together, she co-ordinated with the banquet sales coordinator, Suganthi and made the necessary arrangemets. Our thanks to Suganthi. The tables were set out well in an adequately lit area. The food was great, as was the service. Our thanks to the two smart gentlemen who waited on us. The ambience was superb. The Chef arrived at our table to get a feedback on the cuisine. All the guests enjoyed the food, service and ambience. Overall, a great evening we'll spent. A special word of appreciation and thanks to Patricia for her dedicated service. Thanks to all.

The hotel is located close to Chatram bus stand and I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The hotel is about 15-20 mins frm the airport. The rooms and bathroom was clean. It has the basic amenities. The rooms had both fan and AC and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast spread was simple vegetarian affair and I was surprised to see fresh pooris and dosa served. We also had lunch at the hotel. We ordered chicken, rotis and fried rice and like the breakfast, the lunch was also tasty. The hotel has a nice pub on the ground floor and in the evening, one can enjoy a drink with frds or family. The staff was extremely helpful especially for a person like me who could not speak Tamil and were always ready to speak to the cab drivers. Recommend stay

Hotel reception, rooms interior, ac and furnishings are ok. I have changed the rooms from 3rd floor to 2nd floor due to toilet sewage gas not venting properly and stinking and suffocating of our family members, even 2nd floor rooms also. Car parking is provided no one helping us to safe parking.

The hotel has a good and friendly staff and clean. There is a pub which serves good bites with your beer. The breakfast buffet can be improved by changing the menu. The towels are like sand paper in texture and softeners should be used. Overall it’s a good hotel to stay .

We just stayed for one night. We arrived about 9:00 p.m. and left the room at 11:00 a.m next day. We were three adults and a four-year-old in this room for a night nap. The room was adequate for all four of us, with one master bed and a little bed. The air conditioning was excellent, and I spent 1100 for a four-person stay that I believe was well worth it. RO water is provided on the first floor Only minor problems I noted are that There is no dental kit, soap, or shampoo available. But it's not a big issue. When I controlled the trap water in the bathroom, there was a current leakage via geyser (i felt minor shock in my room), which I alerted reception about. I'm hoping it is fixed.

The hotel had clean lobby, very clean and well equipped rooms and the food was very good. The best part of our stay was very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff in every department. They responded to any request promptly and were very courteous. Highly recommended for the value.

I recently had a highly disappointing experience at Trichy Coastal Grand Hotel Sampath. Despite having a confirmed booking for three rooms, upon arrival at 1:30 AM, the reception informed us that only one room was available. The other two rooms were allegedly damaged, with one room having a selling problem and the other lacking a functioning air conditioner. After a prolonged and distressing argument, the hotel staff offered alternative accommodation at a homestay far from the city center. These rooms were non-air-conditioned, unsuitable for guests who had traveled from Malaysia, and did not meet basic safety and comfort standards. Moreover, no breakfast was provided, despite it being included in our booking.

Star city hotel is best suitable for couples in trichy. Staff are very polite and very helpful. Eventhough they don't have restaurant they will help you to get your food through zomato and swiggy. They will arrange tea and coffee in time. Location is the plus of star city

SSathyanarayananJVery nice hotel with neat room and good housekeeping. Very near the main temple. Just near the Outer Gopuram as you enter Srirangam from Amma Mandapam side. There is a restaurant below the hotel which serves nice and tasty food. The restaurant is independent and so you should settle the bill separately. However, the accommodation includes free breakfast which is served by the restaurant. Very ideal for temple visit and comfortable stay. They also arrange for darshan. There is ample car parking facility - 4 covered and 4 open. Reasonable tariff and we enjoyed the stay and would be visiting again in future.

UUsuario invitadoEste es básicamente un hotel indio, así que si usted es un extranjero que visita Trichy, que pocos hacen, y si usted es, y prefiere la escena local en lugar del final, usted sabe lo que esperar, y ser honesto, las habitaciones no son demasiado malas. La habitación está limpia y tiene baños adecuados. No esperes demasiado de la gente, pero sirven los requisitos básicos, así que no nos quejamos. El restaurante interior ha cambiado. No importa, sólo por la carretera es un restaurante muy bonito (Kerala Mess), aunque no se abre hasta las 10:00 - si quieres una omeleta, tendrás que esperar. Para el desayuno, puedo recomendar la articulación local justo al lado del hospital GVN - grandes chai, café y vadi. El punto principal que se debe saber antes de reservar este lugar (aparte de la dificultad de reservar en línea desde fuera de la India - Use Make My Trip), es que está situado en el medio de un basar - esp basar de ropa de crap. El hotel es un hotel de gran calidad, pero no es un hotel de gran calidad. Hace diez años hemos llegado aquí, y el tráfico ha aumentado diez veces desde entonces. Sinceramente, ha alcanzado sus límites. No estoy seguro de lo que estas zonas de mercado en la India van a hacer, ya que el tráfico y la gente va a crecer en el futuro.
