The property is a beautiful, nestled amongst tea plantation and with 29 semi detached cottages, the stay offers privacy and views of the plantation right from your balcony- yes every cottage has a balcony facing the tea plantation. You can walk down to most of the view points like Pothamedu view point. And if not, take your pics stepping right outside the property gates. We stayed in luxury cottage with 3 adults and 1 child. The rooms are spacious and furnished, not luxury level but enough to give you a good stay. In the evening, the clouds descend onto your balcony literally. The restaurant offers complimentary breakfast and paid lunch and dinner (Rs 400 plus taxes) and it was good option. The road leading to the property from view point is a bit rough and needs good driving skills. If you are uncomfortable, pls ask property to send a driver. Pls do carry BSNL sim since no other service works here. Ask for Wi-Fi password at property. Overall I will definitely recommend Tea Valley Munnar to all my friends

The resort was good. But the problem is the way to resort. We had come from kochi and the route map that took us was very off road and high range such that no normal four wheeler will be able to go. We got stuck in the middle of forest for a while in pitch dark. Luckily some locals helped us to drop in the resort. There is an alternate easier way which we could have taken. But the resort didnt inform us prior thereby costing us a huge money for repair. However, they were helpful in picking us up and even arranging a driver for taking us back. Only issue was the way to the resort. Anyone who wishes to stay in the resort dont follow google map.

We recently stayed at this resort in Munnar. It was an exceptional experience, with breathtaking views of a beautiful landscape. The overall ambience was wonderful. The serene and comfortable atmosphere was an addition to everything. The hospitality was amazing, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had a comfortable stay. The warmth and eagerness they have portrayed to welcome us were exceptional. It was my dad’s birthday, and we just wanted to spend some time in a nice space, and Camelot was indeed the best option. The commitment to provide a high standard of quality in everything. Also, the food was just mouth-watering. I cannot imagine getting such amazing food in such a chic and appealing atmosphere. The way they arranged the restaurant for my dad was also exemplary. Overall, the stay was just perfect. I can't wait to return!!!

The location is excellent, situated in a secluded area on way to the tata tea packaging factory in pallivasal. The property is enveloped by picturesque tea plantations, offering a splendid view of the aatukad waterfalls and the valley. The culinary experience is exceptional, with hygienic food prepared on a made-to-order basis. However, it's important to note that the ghat road leading to the property is narrow and has a steep slope, requiring caution for those unfamiliar with driving in hilly terrains. Regrettably, there is no designated campfire area as advertised. In summary, the stay is above average overall.

Muy amables y hasta nos hicieron comida no picante. Muy buenas vistas y las instalaciones muy adecuadas. El sitio situado entre colinas llenas de té que se pueden visitar y son muy interesantes. El pueblo muy dinámico tal como es toda la India con gente muy trabajadora

We booked this hotel for a couple of days for our Munnar trip and were happy with the stay. We got an upgrade with both Mountain and river (a stream) view room which is there USP. The food was good but the breakfast was same for both the days. This hotel is not very far from the market area. The hotel staff kindly arranged taxi for our sightseeing at a reasonable rate, overall a descent stay.

UUsuario invitadoAn excellent hotel with top price value central to all excursions, trekking and tour offers with public or private buses and tour providers. The rooms are clean, have hot water and offer all standard comfort. The hotel operator is available to help with any questions you may have about munnar or anything else about the stay. It was a wonderful stay for exploring the national parks and beautiful surroundings.

We had a very long drive 7 and hours by car so long but when we arrived we got a warm welcoming from the checkin staff From Sweta Varun, Tom made us feel so comfortable as we we’re exhausted traveling here by car, in-fact Sweta did the formality in checking in, then she guided us to a beautiful spacious room with a plunge pool it made us feel relaxed, and then later we met the Food and Beverages staff first of it was Miritunjay Videya,listen, and a tall waiter I cannot remember his name, and the head chef and his junior chef and all the food and beverages staff were so hospitable and they didn’t hesitate doing anything for you, 100 percent of being helpful to our preferences, and also the housekeeping staff Renjit, Soumya, they cleaned our room perfectly clean, we was satisfied from them both we thought they both Cleaned our perfectly, with their hard work of Cleanliness, everyone working there made us feel relaxed and comfortable after we toured around tea plantations and many places we toured to, then back to have delicious meals at the Scenic Taj was worth waiting for. Even the garden staff were so friendly. We will come to beautiful peaceful Hotel Scenic by Taj in future.

UUsuario invitadoWe recently stayed at Olive Brook for 2 nights while on a birding trip of Southern India and were very impressed. The highlight was the owner and his wife that really looked after us and made us feel very special; one evening they even invited us into their kitchen to teach us how to make a local dish! The food overall was fantastic, and the tea and coffee superb. The rooms are large and comfortable, with good quality beds and linen. The surroundings are stunning, with beautiful gardens and special birds all around. It is important to note that Olive Brook does not have a liquor license so no alcohol is served.

UUsuario invitadoLa habitación está muy cerca de la habitación, pero no hay nada que puedas hacer. ¡La sopa y las frijoles llegaron primero! ¡Y luego un queso y un sándwich de tomate, en tostadas, con coco y cervezas! Un sandwich de huevos llegó poco después, huevos fritos en tostadas quemadas con los mismos tostados. ¡Y finalmente el sandwich del club llegó ...6 cortes de tostadas, 2 con pollo y cebollas, 2 con queso y champiñones y 2 con cucurbitá y tomate!! Y todas las placas vinieron con frijoles adicionales, el camarero debía haber dicho! El menú no hace claro que las sandwiches están tostadas y la cocina debe asegurarse de que no todas son quemadas. El servicio fue lento y apagado. No en ningún lugar que yo podría recomendar para un almuerzo ligero.

UUsuario invitadoIt's a nice resort with a great view of the forest. A good place for a family vacation. The breakfast buffet was also decent with north and south indian dishes. They provided us jeep service for pick up and drop off to the property as it's connected by a very steep road. Overall a good stay.

UUsuario invitadoStaff talk politely, but room and maintainence is worst. We shifted to better hotel on day 1 itself after booking it for 2 days through online 5 days before our trip... They say that all the rooms are booked but it doesn't seem so... They gave a room in underground floor which is completely dark and had no view to outside... While the pics in the website show all rooms provided with a balcony open to mountain viewing... On asking they took extra charges to upgrade it to ground florr which had no basic amenities even a budget hotel could provide.. No doormats no toiletries no hot water.. Bedding looked shabby and unclean.. We immediately booked another better hotel outside and shifted their with no refund for the cancelled room... Can go only if you have no choice otherwise..
