El hotel está en una buena ubicación, en la pequeña ciudad del lago Devon. El estándar de la habitación es de 16 metros cuadrados, pero parece que debería tener más de 20 metros cuadrados. Limpio e higiénico. La actitud del servicio es buena, llegamos temprano y la recepción nos dio la habitación sin decir una palabra. El restaurante del hotel también es muy bueno y los platos son deliciosos. Algunas personas mayores locales dicen que han estado comiendo en el restaurante durante más de 20 años.

First time we have stayed here and it certainly will not be the last. We were greeted by a friendly reception member and give the option to choose from a 2nd floor room or a top floor room, very nice to have the offer. We found the room on the 2nd floor very spacious and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space with stunning views over Hope Park to the fells beyond. Beautiful. This is why we chose this room without even seeing the top floor room. Everything was very clean and well arranged in the whole establishment. The breakfasts we had were top of the tree. The quality of all the lovely breakfast items were delicious. I must add that each and every item you order from the breakfast menu is brought to you, and you can just sit and enjoy the view from your table whilst waiting for the great service. Very nice touch. The location is spot on, with a few steps at the front of the building to get up, but the rear entrance is just up a sloped road and easy to access. Take your pick. It was a very nice guest house for us to enjoy a fab few days in glorious Keswick. Staff members were all great and we felt well looked after. Try it as I am sure you will like it here.

Just returned home after a 6 hour journey from hell but yet again another great stay at the Lodge in the Vale. Have been coming to the Lodge for 3 years roughly now and the hospitality as per usual was top class. Perfect location for whatever your reasoning is for visiting the Lakes, whether its to climb the hills, explore the Lakes and all its beautiful surroundings or like myself, a avid plane spotter wanting to climb the hills for the low flying aircraft (when the weather allows). Rooms are consistently clean and tidy, nothing is ever too much to ask for if you need anything extra or more off if you stay for 4/5 nights etc, you get offered a mini room service half way through your stay if you require anything doing (new towels/etc). Not a breakfast eating person but always get lunch in the cafe after a morning out & about and the food is always spot on, whether you have a lovely warm soup or a toasted Panini! Already looking forward to my next trip and to seeing the brilliant team at both the Lodge in the Vale and the sister pub just down the road The Kings Head (30 seconds in the car or 10 min walk away) where Peter & his team always look after you if you’re staying with the Lodge! 5 stars isn’t enough for these guys!

We started and fin our linier hike from here,we had 2 4 bed rooms and ours had a balcony overlooking the river,check in was quick and easy and we all got settled in the rooms before having a beer in the bar/dining area, The rooms are comfortable with enough space for kit and the beds although bunk beds are well made and sturdy, Our room had a toilet and shower with a sink in the sleeping area,oneroblem we had was the toilet never filled properly and this was reported to reception, The hostel is popular and when we were there a group of 50 students were also there but the staff were great at serving either beers or breakfast in the morning. It's a great place to head out from with its excellent location and we will deffo stay here again

Fantastic stay in the most amazing surroundings. From beginning to end our 2 night stay was memorable! We truly could not find fault with anything! Our suite was beautifully appointed with the most amazing view of the manicured gardens and lake. Our Spa experience was exceptional...one of the best spas we have visited in a long time. Last but not least, The Grill...it had such a lovely relaxed atmosphere and our food was great! We must give a special mention to the chef that made the soup...it was a 10/10.... I had 2 bowls! The steaks were also cooked to perfection. We cannot leave a review without giving a special thanks to all the staff...what a great team...nothing was too much bother and the level of service they give all guests was impeccable! What else can I say other than, we cant wait to return! Thank you for such a memorable stay!

This was our first stay at Fellpack House and definitely won't be our last. From arrival the Team are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The decor throughout is gorgeous. A great choice of breakfast with fantastic views over the fells, what better way to start your day. The lounge is fab to chill in with drinks, games and books, perfect way to end your night. What a drying room...very spacious with lots of hooks and space for your gear. Jodie was great giving us a few recommendations for walks which were spot on. See you soon guys.

Discrepo de una valoración excelente de esta casa. Quiero decir, la casa es preciosa, con una localización perfecta para conocer la ciudad y la región, pero tiene aspectos que no veo reflejados y creo que son importantes: - La recepción es exigua: solo de 16-19h. Es verdad que puedes dejar las maletas allí, pero aunque no puedas acceder a la habitación ¿hacer el checking al menos? - No es una casa para personas con movilidad reducida - El desayuno es variado y muy rico, pero echo de menos productos típicos y algún dulce. Lástima que la persona que atiende el desayuno no tenga mucho interés por hacerse entender con personas que no hablan bien su idioma. Eso lleva a confusiones que generan mal rollo. Sin embargo, la mujer que nos hizo el checking fue sumamente amable.
