Very lucky find on Google. Flew from Birmingham early and due to lots of night closures on motorways decided to go down the day before. Great find. Excellent hosts, very clean rooms and quiet. The parking and shuttle service to airport was also excellent. Can’t find any faults to mention. Will definitely use this place again if we fly from Brum. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

Booked for one night as visiting friends in the area. Read the reviews after we'd booked and very nearly didn't go, but as it was by far the cheapest option locally we thought stuff it and off we went. The bar was very busy when we arrived at 6pm, a friendly local took us to the check in desk. The lady that checked us in was lovely. The doormen were so friendly. Our room was in the annexe and was perfectly acceptable for one night. Clean, warm and the two single beds were comfy. Heating was on when we arrived, big telly with Netflix etc, kettle with lots of tea, coffee. Yes the room is small and a bit tired looking but as long as clean and warm who cares? At £53 quid we have no complaints. We headed back to our room at 11pm expecting the worst after reading all the complaints of noise. We had ear plugs ready.. No need! Yes we could hear hear the music but only faintly and we couldn't hear the people outside at all. This was a Saturday night. Maybe we were just lucky or it's worse in the rooms above the pub but we had no issues at all. The music ended at midnight then silence. The bottle bins were emptied at 7.30 Sunday morning but that lasted 5 minutes. Nice cuppa then off home. So no complaints from us. If you're looking for luxury look elsewhere. If you want a cheap, warm room for the night with a comfy bed I think you'll be happy enough :-)

La recepción era ruda y no quería que nos diera el desayuno antes de las 9:00 (tenemos un evento de trabajo para asistir a las 9:00) después de una persuasión que se acordó a las 8:00 pero no hay comida caliente. Si tenemos suerte podemos conseguir un huevo... No estoy seguro de que él estaba tratando de ser divertido. Finalmente después de lo que se sentía como una interrogación y abusado verbalmente de manera sexual nos dieron las llaves a nuestras habitaciones.... Ver fotos. ¡La recepción se agresó con nosotros y nos arrojó con lenguaje de mala calidad, todo esto está muy claro en el CCTV si realmente funcionaba! No es nada como las fotos en línea. Cuando fuera después de que la puerta nos acercó, me contacté con el propietario como me había dado su número antes de ese día. El propietario estaba obviamente en choque y dijo que nos llamaría de nuevo. Excellent Sunday carvery. Service really good, from the young lad on the meat counter who was very friendly and efficient, to the front of house and waitresses - all very professional, polite and good service. Food selection and quality was really good and superior to other carverys.

We just spent a few days at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel in Coventry England. Michele and I were absolutely delighted and impressed with the level of hospitality and customer service that I felt compelled to write about our experience . From the moment we arrived and throughout our stay , we were provided with the most amazing service and had a wonderful experience with the beverage manager, Franklin, our waitress, Gowri, and our beverage controller, Aslam. You guys make an outstanding team. I can’t wait to return. We highly recommend this resort !!! Mark and Michele McCauley
