Hotel on the main road - you can pay for parking but I didn't and managed to find parking on the Main Street. Turned out I hadn't paid for breakfast, and it costs 15 Euros each day for it. I got it on the last morning because I had al one drive that day. Hotel was fine, but operating the shower was odd. There was a carry out next to the hotel for anyone who does not want to pay the cost of staying here. I had a problem when checking out because the hotel wanted to charge me 15 Euros for breakfast every day even thought I had only had it for the last day, which was a discrepancy of 45 Euros. However, after some discussion with the translation app, I got the cost removed. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay and given that it was on a main road, it was quiet. One good thing about this was that I left an expensive jacket at the hotel when I left. I was unaware until I was miles away and they phoned me to inform me. When I got back to England I contacted them and made arrangements for them to send it to me. Took about 10 days but I received it. Really pleased with the service for this because the jacket was expensive.

We stayed here for one night as we crossed France towards the coast and were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is lovely. It is very modern with good sized rooms. Secure parking is also available. The hotel restaurant is beautiful. Sadly we were staying on a Sunday when it was not open for dinner but we certainly enjoyed an excellent breakfast on Monday morning. The hotel receptionist was very helpful providing recommendations for restaurants which were open. It is a short walk into Limoges and I was actually disappointed that we were not staying an extra day here!

Se trata de un Ibis rojo: ya sabes lo que vas a encontrar. La diferencia estriba en que este hotel está en el centro de Limoges y que el personal es encantador y eficiente. No tiene párquing propio, el que tiene es diminuto, aunque cerca hay plazas municipales al aire libre con parquímetro. Habitaciones pequeñas, un poco anticuadas, en un edificio antiguo, con solera. Desayuno correcto y precio muy correcto. Un clásico hotel Ibis con el plus de estar en el centro de Limoges. Una opción a considerar.

En el hotel, el hotel está en una zona de la ciudad de Gales, donde se encuentra el centro de la ciudad de Gales. En la cocina, el ”hogar” de pollo se llevó a la casa de mi esposa, pero no me llevó nada. We enjoyed our stay at the Brit Hotel, Limoges, for the most part. Although the room was unusually small (two people could barely fit), it was clean and comfortable. Up until checkout, the only odd event was an employee offering my wife a drink, which she refused, but was then served a beer nonetheless. No big deal, but she then was charged for it. Anyways, not a deal-breaker. The surprise at check-out actually started just as we arrived, two days prior. We asked about paying for breakfast, and were told (by the same employee), that it was included with our room fee. We thought that was great, so decided to spend that money on the pool/spa “experience” (which is not included – 30 Euros/person extra). Fast forward back to check out, and we were told we owed for breakfast, as well as other administrative charges (city taxes, etc.) that we had already been charged upon checkin. Oddest of all, as we explained the situation to the manager during checkout, she acknowledged the mistakes of her employee, but nevertheless insisted on us paying all supplemental fees (in some cases, for the second time). At no point during the process did hotel staff show any hint of “customer service”, benefit of the doubt, taking responsibility for their errors, etc. 100% strong front against us, the customer. The money was not the point for us, we just paid it all without contest. But the principle still stings. Reluctantly, we would not recommend you stay at this hotel.

El hotel está muy bien situado, apartamentos confortables y limpios, con decoración cuidadosa. La posibilidad de un estacionamiento a precios muy asequibles en el centro de la ciudad es apreciable. Las camas son de calidad. Sin embargo, el proceso de llegada autónoma, sin duda práctica, basado en el código QR, es un poco difícil. En nuestro caso, lo más difícil fue descubrir que la petición de preparar el sofá en la cama (expresada en el momento de la entrada por teléfono, fue mi error porque escuchar a la persona en el teléfono, En este establecimiento se puede leer sólo SMS y correo electrónico y no se acostumbra a la voz humana...) no se ha respetado. Después de 6 horas de camino y de cierres, me he ido a la aventura para encontrar la toalla, un cuchillo, un cuchillo de cuchillo, un auricular, etc. Y tener que preparar el famoso sofá cama ... Por último, la lámpara de la estancia se quedó en pantalla durante 3 días, aunque Seguir recibiendo el SMS (uno más) justo después de la entrada al apartamento invitando a un vaso de bienvenida en el establecimiento de restauración adjunto. Así que un buen establecimiento, pero que merecería un poco de alma y de presencia humana con una gobernante digna de ese nombre.

Pleasantly surprised with this for an overnight stop. Just 5 mins from the Autoroute and a pretty easy find. Plenty of parking at front of hotel adjacent to rooms. Check in was smooth. Room was decent athough for a mid Feb visit we found we needed to bump up the heater to get it to an acceptable temperature. Facilities were good with, tea/coffee and biscuits, a decent bathroom and conplentary toiletries. Again, needed to manually sort the rad in the bathroom to get temperature acceptable. Breakfast was excellent and at €10 pp great value with a brilliant choice. Didn't do dinner as both vegetarian with no real choice beyond fish for us. Yes, would return with only heating in room pushing score down to a 4. With a view over the golf course at back, I can imagine the place is nice in the summer.
