Realmente no cumplió mis expectativas. A juzgar por las fotos de otros usuarios, nos dieron por lejos, la peor habitación del último piso. Poco espaciosa, sin mucho empeño en la decoración y destinada a gente de baja estatura. Una persona de estatura normal no puede usar la ducha estando parado porque parte de la estructura del techo se lo impide. Solo pude olvidar este hecho, abriendo la ventana y pudiendo admirar el paisaje. No obstante, no puedo olvidar este hecho. La recepción estaba siendo remodelada, razón por la cual tuvimos que hacer el check in en La Mere Poulard que estaba a unos cuantos metros. El salón comedor también estaba fuera de servicio por lo que el servicio de desayuno se sirve en el bar que esta al pie del hotel. Siendo pocos los lugares para alojarse en el monte, y siendo la mayoría del mismo grupo hotelero, sería bueno que mantuviesen un estándar en todas las habitaciones y servicios.

The staff was overworked and so difficult to find when needed. It took 15 minutes to find the actual hotel because they closed its primary entrance and redirected entry through one of its partner hotels. After walking around and around and being ignored by a number of the staff, we then had to wait for over 40 minutes for someone to appear at reception to check in. To be fair, once the staff did show up, there were several nice individuals, but I think they were extremely overworked. Because it was so late we opted to eat in one of their restaurants and had the same issue, waiting almost 40 minutes to order and then even longer for the meal to be served. When finally we checked in, to get to the room, one had take our bags we had just brought up back down the stairs, leave the building, mount a second larger stair, walk around the back of the building, go down two flights of stairs, enter another door and then up two more flights of very narrow, circular stairs with all our bags. We were offered no help from the staff. I'm pretty sturdy but still, this was a lot of work. If you're older, I'd say this is just not possible. When we got to the room, it was very tight. I like small spaces, but this was extreme, especially for the price. For my wife to get to the bathroom at night, it was impossible to do without bumping into me and waking me up. The seagulls roosting on the roof right outside the window were insane and did not stop squalling until 2-3 in the morning, and then up again around 5 in the morning. I could have tolerated some of this, but for the price, it was just too much. St. Michel is a spectacular place but so thick with tourists it becomes almost impossible to appreciate. The food is horrible everywhere and one can tell everyone who works there is just tired of dealing with tourists. I would not recommend staying on the island at all, but for anyone who really wants to give it a go I would say so not even think of staying more than 1 day.

El hotel está bien situado en la entrada de la ciudad de Mont Saint-Michel, pero no espere ver una vista sorprendente ni de la bahía ni del abismo. Hay techos de los edificios que lo rodean que bloquean la vista. El cuarto es bastante amplio y bien organizado. El baño tiene un baño de ángulo, pero no hay ventana. Las camas y los muebles están limpios, pero me sorprendió ver el estado de las bordas y marcos de las ventanas negras de suciedad. Quería poner mi teléfono para hacer un video de la luz del sol, pero me llamaron rápidamente por el estado de las ventanas. El hotel no tiene ascensor y las escaleras son bastante estrechas. Así que no es adecuado para personas de edad avanzada o con movilidad reducida. Había suficientes opciones para el desayuno y la joven que nos sirvió es muy agradable. Sólo había algunos productos (por ejemplo, pan de chocolate) que no se han realimentado. Sin embargo, todavía no ha terminado el servicio. Queríamos comer en el restaurante, pero la reserva es completa. Estupendo, al pasar allí al principio y medio de servicio, las tablas de bcp están vacías, pero nos se nos negó el acceso y nos devolvió al restaurante del albergue cercano.

Fantastic place directly next to Mont Saint Michel. We brought our bikes with us and enjoyed biking a round the area and biking directly to the Mont Saint Michel avoiding the long shuttle bus queues. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff and good restaurant. The only small problem we had was getting through the entry gate to the area. There was a long queue of cars and almost everyone struggled getting through. When it was our turn we realized that we needed a code. A quick call to the hotel, who provided us the code, and problem solved.

Los tiempos de espera para que te tomen nota de los platos, así como entre plato y plato fueron casi de 1 h, además muchos de los platos de la carta no tenían, pese a ser los primeros y el restaurante no dar comidas, y el segundo día tampoco tenían esos platos, por ejemplo ostras. Lo ponen en la carta pero no existen. Realmente estresante. El desayuno empieza a las 8 de la mañana, solo había una persona atendiendo y a las 8:20 h ya faltaban cosas que no repusieron. La limpieza de las habitaciones, nos fuimos a las 10 de la mañana, habiendo dejado el cartel puesto en la puerta para hacer la habitación, volvimos a las 15 h y estaba sin hacer, nos fuimos a las 16:30 h y ya no la hicieron. Vergonzoso, además al irnos, una de las limpiadoras estaba sentada en el pasillo con su móvil, dando una mala imagen sobre todo si no te han hecho la habitación. Da la impresión que la gestión es muy mala, que falta personal y que los trabajadores no están contentos.

Very friendly personnel. Plus: Great location! Situated on a site with hotls, restaurants, souvenirs shop and with the bus stop (brown buses) to Le Mont St Michel right in front (across the garden), soothing sound of the fountain water on the green.. Our 3-person room (nr 121) was situated at the front of the hotel with a view of the little park in front of the building. Clean. Bathroom and toilet separated from each other is a plus.Also nice : the shelves in the bath room to store your toiletries (usually a problem in the average hotel) Minus · Our 3-person room (nr127) was not big (3 beds close to one another in 1 room) Breakfast : not bad but not much choice and only white bread with a hard crust Only French TV channels No lift; so could be a bit of a problem to older people To find the hotel site driving on the public road to Le Mont: follow the road Rue Du Mont St Michel and look for the arrow to the Mercure Hotel which is situated on the same site .
