Wir haben eine Nacht auf der Durchreise in diesem Hotel verbracht. Es liegt sehr günstig, nahe der Altstadt. Man kann zu Fuß alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut erreichen. Die Lobby, Flure und Zimmer sind sehr hell und vermitteln einen ”luftigen” Eindruck. Es ist also kein 08/15 Hotelklotz. Offenbar hatten wir Glück und haben ein renoviertes Zimmer (208) erhalten. Das Zimmer war sauber und groß, ebenso das Bad. Es gab dort genügend Abstellmöglichkeiten, was nicht überall selbstverständlich ist. Allerdings muss man schon sehr aufpassen, wenn man die Dusche verlässt. Trotz geschlossener Tür schwimmt das halbe Bad, die Fliesen sehr nass. Hier empfiehlt ich eine dringende Nachbesserung. Die Verletzungsgefahr ist hoch. Allerdings weiß ich nicht, ob es auf alle Zimmer zutrifft. Zum Frühstück war wirklich alles da was man brauchte, begeistert war ich vom noch warmen Brot. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Den Kaffee gab es leider aus Thermoskannen. In meiner vollen Tasse konnte ich bis auf den Boden sehen. Ein Automat mit verschiedenen Kaffeespezialitäten wäre hier zeitgemäßer. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist fair. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich. Allerdings machte der Mitarbeiter im Frühstücksservice einen gehetzten und sehr genervten Eindruck. Ihm sei verziehen, das Hotel war voll und er war allein für sämtliche Arbeiten zuständig.

Schön und ruhig gelegenes Hotel im Grünen mit kostenlosen Parkplätzen auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite. Zimmer modern und sauber, Frühstücksbüffet im kleinen, hauseigenen Restaurant/Bar mit guter Qualität, wenngleich überschaubar an Auswahl, dennoch ausreichend. Kleineres Haus von der Gästeanzahl, daher keine Massenabfertigung, was durchaus ein Pluspunkt ist.

The room we received for the price of 170 euro was the most expensive AND smallest room on our trip. It included a leaning roof right over your bed, perfect to bang your head in. The room was extremely basic equipped. The breakfast in the morning was served at the price of 20 euro per person. No thanks. Having arrived back home we found out that our card hade been charged with 40 euro, despite not having had breakfast. We had a bad experience some years ago and thought we would give it a second chance New again, The worst place we have experienced.

We have visited Hotel Bergstrom many times since early 2000. We have always enjoyed the well maintained and well organized hotel. After this stay, not so much. I am aware of 2 years of COVID fatigue and staff shortage. However, when we make a reservation we expect full accessibility, our de luxe room could not be reached by us because it lacked elevator. We got a different room, all fine however, this room was located to the party street where nightlife ended 0230 and cleaning and transport started 0500 so much for the sleep. I am not overly fixed on clean rooms, however, please remove the obvious layers of dust- repair what is damaged. This makes the first impression so much better. Bathroom was first class. We are used to having the Marina cafe open all day- now limited to evening only, so sad. For breakfast only one waiter, should be more staff at hand, and please keep loud disagreements at the kitchen out of guests reach. Finally, for check out-more staff on work, to wait 15 min for check out is to long a wait. So there is work to be done if you are going to keep your 4 star rating.

Ich war schon einmal im Seminaris Lüneburg und war wieder begeistert. Schönes Zimmer und leckeres umfangreiches Frühstück. Nezter Service am Empfang und große Parkgarage 👍. Nur die Toiletten sind sehr tief angebracht. Trotzdem immer gerne wieder. 😀

This was our second stay with this chain hotel. We knew to only expect the basics. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were disgusting. So flat, ragged, and worn. The two panels of double glazed windows were effective, and we did not hear any noise from the railway line that we could see from our window. It was a freight line and had very few trains. The passenger line was located further from the hotel but still within walking distance. The old town was within walking distance, and it contained many eateries. We were able to get boiling water from the restaurant in the morning to make our own coffee in the room. We had our own mugs and provisions and bought bags of ice from the Shell gas station (10-minute drive). The hotel room only contains 2 extremely small paper cups, about the size you would use for mouthwash.
