Tu alojamiento en Kalavasos

This is a lovely boutique hotel in the village of Kalavasos. It being so early in the season the hotel wasn't full a lot of the time and consequently there were some service issues which is why only 4 stars. Our room was not cleaned on 3 days. Twice because the one cleaner didn't get to us until 5pm when we had just got back from a day out so we sent her away! The other time was apparently her day off and no replacement. This lovely lady was also expected to help in the kitchen and restaurant at breakfast and dinner so not surprised she needed a day off! As it was quiet we had to order a place at dinner in advance for a set menu each day. Despite this, dinner seemed to be served (and cooked?) by just one person rushing about with long waits. Said person was then seen at reception later on. The food was of acceptable standard. Everyone was very nice and tried to be helpful but clearly they were overstretched. Trying to order a coffee in the lounge after dinner was nigh impossible. Either they didn't speak English or couldn't work the coffee machine! The library lounge is lovely and cosy with an open fire. However despite it being extremely cold at the first week in March was never lit, so guests were all sitting round with their coats and scarves on! The hotel in general wasn't warm (our room was North facing) and the hot water was a bit variable. The room decor was quirky and individual but would not describe it as luxurious. We enjoyed our stay nevertheless but maybe better for a summer visit.

Me hospedé en el hotel durante 4 días y fue una experiencia inmejorable. El hotel tiene acceso directo a la playa, varias piscinas, buenos restaurantes en el mismo hotel, un gimnasio muy completo y un sinfín de servicios. La habitación contaba con todo lo necesario, camas súper cómodas e inmejorables vistas al mar. Lo que más destacaría es el servicio recibido, siempre atentos y resolutivos. Siempre a disposición y con la mejor actitud. Especial agradecimiento a Constantinos, la persona que me recibió en recepción a mi llegada y que a lo largo de la estancia me ayudó con todo lo que necesité en un español perfecto. Siempre atento y predispuesto me resolvió las preguntas que tenía sobre el funcionamiento del hotel, me dio consejos para aprovechar mi estancia e incluso me explicó cosas de la gastronomía chipriota. Constantinos un 10!!! Recomiendo este hotel a todos aquellos que quieran pasar unos días de disfrute y desconexión en Chipre.

Un lugar encantador en el que alojarse, un poco caro, pero en general, tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa. Perdí algunos puntos en los varios retrasos que tuvimos. Tanto del servicio de habitaciones como del equipo. El gerente principal nos regaló un ramo encantador y nos hizo sentir cálidos. ¡El gerente de Locatelli, Mario, su equipo y Chief nos brindaron la mejor experiencia de mi vida! Hemos vuelto varias veces para comer allí y nos cuidaron cada vez. Preparando comida vegana / vegetariana increíble y Apu, nuestro camarero, se aseguró de que todo fuera increíble. Las instalaciones del spa son únicas, disfrutamos de todas las áreas y la piscina de sal, pero el masaje fue regular, por el precio que pagamos. La zona del desayuno era muy ruidosa, los camareros discutían y era muy ruidoso. La música constante a todo volumen tampoco estaba alineada con la serenidad que este lugar pretende crear. Estábamos en los pisos superiores y todavía podíamos escuchar la música de la piscina hasta altas horas de la noche. Regresaremos a Locatelli seguro. En cuanto a estar allí ... podríamos intentarlo de nuevo.

There are three adult only Atlantica hotels in Cyprus and we have recently stayed at the two others and really enjoyed them so we were very excited to try the final one, unfortunately we saved the worst until the last and were somewhat disappointed. I know we were always going to compare to the other two but the others are in a different league in many ways. The main reason for us was the pool area, especially how noisy the road was by the hotel pool area. We all said how we didn’t feel switched off or relaxed due to lorries etc going over the speed bumps right outside the hotel. The sunbeds around the pool area were also reserved very early in the morning. We are always around the pool area from about 7.30am but we are then down there for the day but every morning towels were on most of the beds but nobody was on them and rarely returned until near lunchtime and some never returned at all, which is unfair. I know this happens at a lot of hotels around the world but this seemed exceptionally early here as once one did it everyone followed and went back to bed and I feel the hotel shouldn’t allow this. We also found it odd that the sunbeds were never put back in order of an evening so when you went down in a morning it looked like a bomb site and you had to move them around, we have never known this in any hotel we have been to before. Cats – oh my word. We see cats on holiday all the time but here was a different level, there were lots and they were everywhere and not surprising as everyone was feeding them from their sunbeds so once one was being fed then the rest would follow. A couple of mornings when we arrived at the pool area we had to call the cleaning staff over to clean up cat sick from by the sunbeds. They understandably also gathered around the outside eating areas and to be honest even in the buffet restaurant until the waiters saw them to move them on. The buffet restaurant was nowhere near as nice decoratively as the others, it was very canteen like and the tables where very much on top of each other. The food choice was also not great. We aren’t fussy eaters so always find something to eat but it did get very monotonous over two weeks with not much choice, we even found the salad bar very lacking. The a la carte was ok for a change from the buffet but felt the restaurant location disappointing as it was just a corner of the main restaurant with an outside area with no view, just overlooking the bins. The daytime staff were amazing and never seemed to stop and there were always activities going on if you wanted to join in. We did however find most other staff weren’t as friendly or didn’t engage when we tried to make conversation so we didn’t feel as though we got to know any of the bar staff, which was a completely different experience at the other two hotels when the staff there were totally opposite and on first name terms. We did however find the evening entertainment very good here. This was always on the main roof terra

La ubicación del hotel es excelente, el paisaje de estilo mediterráneo es muy bonito, la vista es abierto, no está totalmente funcional, la actitud del servicio es muy buena 👍, limpio y limpio y cómodo

Mejor que imaginar. Vale la pena recomendar un buen lugar. El servicio es muy bueno. El entorno es bonito. Enfrente al mar. Las instalaciones están bien gestionadas. Los turistas europeos son los principales. Llamar 👍
