UUsuario invitadoLa decoración y el hardware de la sala son muy buenos, y el suministro de oxígeno difundido también es muy tranquilizador. Los fideos de arroz Jiugongge para el desayuno son bastante buenos.
Debido a que estaba lloviendo, había un camino embarrado fuera de la ventana. El paisaje no era una ventaja sino un inconveniente, lo cual fue un poco decepcionante.
El agua en la ducha y el lavabo era muy pequeña. El jefe dijo que lo sabía pero que no había tenido tiempo de arreglarlo.
El jefe no tomó la iniciativa de ofrecer té de la tarde, frutas, ropa tibetana, etc., mencionado en el paquete. ¿Cómo puedo decirlo? Si no existen estos servicios de valor añadido y es sólo alojamiento, desayuno y leche, no hay relación calidad-precio. Todavía hay mucho margen de mejora en el servicio, especialmente en los días de lluvia cuando el paisaje del hotel no puede ser una ventaja.
Debería estar bien en un día soleado, pero no recomiendo conducir hasta aquí en un día lluvioso.

Lavarse es también libre de molestias! Sólo tengo que dejar que sepan que recoge mi cesto de lavarse y después de un tiempo volverán limpios.
¡Las habitaciones estaban limpias y por el frío, me gusta el piso caliente! Mi habitación tiene una vista sorprendente de las montañas cubiertas de nieve mientras que mis otras familias ven el hermoso pasto verde con una variedad de montañas en la espalda.
El hotel está situado a sólo 3 minutos a pie del famoso Café Heido, y nos sentimos aliviados por no tener que tomar un taxi. La ciudad de Dukezong no está muy lejos, sólo 15-20 minutos a Didi y la estación de tren alrededor 10-15 minutos a coche, que el alojamiento le enviaría con alegría usando su coche.

UUsuario invitadoWe had an amazing stay at Shangri-La Banxia Time Homestay, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shangri-La, Yunnan. From the moment we booked, the host was extremely responsive, keeping in touch with us for three weeks before our trip. They provided useful tips, such as bringing heavy clothes due to the cold and snow, which helped us a lot in preparing for our visit.
One of the best things about this homestay was the hospitality. The host picked us up and dropped us off at the train station for free of charge, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. They also went the extra mile by lending us winter jackets at no cost, which was a thoughtful gesture. Additionally, they arranged a driver for us to visit the places we wanted to explore, making our trip smooth and enjoyable.
The homestay itself was fantastic—spacious, exactly as shown in the pictures, and equipped with complete amenities. It truly felt like a home away from home. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the hot blankets and oxygen supply, which were essential due to Shangri-La’s high altitude. The homestay also had a modern design while being located in the heart of the ancient town, offering easy access to everything.
Beyond the comfortable stay, the host’s kindness and guidance made our experience even better. They recommended great places to visit and local restaurants to try, ensuring we had a memorable trip.
Overall, we had a perfect stay, and we would definitely choose this homestay again in the future.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at ”Under the East Fence of Shangri-La Napahai Nature Reserve,” and I cannot recommend this place enough! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and cared for by the host, Guozi, who is one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I’ve ever met.
Guozi went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. She upgraded me to a larger room than what I had booked, which was such a lovely surprise. The room itself was very cool — equipped with all the latest Chinese technology, including automated curtains, voice-controlled lighting, TV projector, screen, and a music system. The heated floors were an absolute treat, especially in the chilly Shangri-La weather.
The view from the room was simply breathtaking, with a full window wall overlooking the stunning landscape of the Napahai Nature Reserve. Waking up to such a view was an unforgettable experience.
Guozi’s hospitality didn’t stop there—she even made tea for me, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The dinner is simple and delicious. Great coffee and Chinese breakfast in the morning. On the day of my departure, her husband kindly drove me to the railway station, which was incredibly helpful and saved me a lot of stress.
Another highlight of my stay was meeting Hong Gongzi (The Red Prince), their adorable and majestic Alaskan Malamute. He’s a huge, fluffy, and gentle giant who added so much joy to my visit. If you’re a dog lover, you’ll absolutely adore him!
The location itself is stunning, nestled near the Napahai Nature Reserve, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful environment. It’s the perfect place to unwind and connect with nature. It is located well away from town.
Overall, my experience at this home stay was exceptional, thanks to Guozi’s warmth, the luxurious and tech-savvy accommodations, and the charming company of Hong Gongzi. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shangri-La and hope to return one day!

Sugerencias: comunic**** con los clientes de manera proactiva para preguntar sobre su hora de llegada para que puedan organizar la recogida en la estación/avión, responder de manera proactiva a la información del cliente de manera oportuna y considerar el transporte de los clientes que necesitan ponerse al día temprano en la mañana. ¡Porque es realmente difícil tomar un taxi a las 6 en punto!

Overall: The inn is nice and confortable but the service is terrible. Service made us feel very unwelcome and ruined the experience.
Room: humble but comfortable room. You can ask for a heater, which is very needed in the winter months (we stayed here in late November). Be aware that some rooms are marked as “Mountain View” but in fact you’re in a covered area so won’t really have a view (pictures attached) - we booked one of these rooms but since it was low season we were lucky to get a free upgrade and get one of the few rooms with a nice view.
Cleanliness: the rooms are relatively clean, but we had a mouldy shower curtain (see pictures).
Amenities: the restaurant / front desk area is very nice and cosy.
Service: terrible! Every time we needed their assistance it felt as if we were disturbing them from sitting by the fire (even though they barely had any customers and it seemed as if they were not busy at all). We are international traveler’s that don’t speak Chinese and the service was unhelpful and not welcoming. We’ve had no issues anywhere else in our trip in China, this was definitely the worst we have experienced. After reading other reviews it seems that the boss is very helpful, but he wasn’t there when we stayed at the inn and it appears that the workers don’t do a good job when he is not around. The workers didn’t advise us that we needed crampons for one of the hikes we did (hikers from other inns told us that these were a must) so we had to reluctantly stay one more night to complete the hike.
When we booked another night, one service member told us a price and another service person told us a different (lower, almost 100cny lower) price. We were then charged the first (higher) price, which made us feel quite uncomfortable. The day after when we tried to rent crampons from the inn the lady told us that it was 20 cny to rent per day, and that in other places it was 40 cny per day. We decided not to rent them because they looked in very bad condition. We later found out that you can buy them brand new at “meets meili snow mountain” for 35cny and use them for the 2 hikes. We also had to rent hiking poles even though they provide them for free at the hotel given that the ones they had didn’t look in good condition and weren’t tall enough for us (the lady at the desk got frustrated with us because of this).
Overall, very unhelpful, impatient service - we felt extremely uncomfortable because of it. If you’re an international traveller and don’t speak much Chinese stay away!!
Food: was good but small portions compared to other places. We ended up eating most of our meals elsewhere because the service made us feel very unwelcome. Limited breakfast options, there’s many more options at “meets meili snow mountain”.

RRonaNalaEl hotel está situado a 1 km del casco antiguo y a 10-15 minutos en coche de la estación de tren.
La habitación era cómoda y la presión del agua y el calentador funcionaban perfectamente.
El wifi también era muy estable. (Para los extranjeros, tengan en cuenta que si se conectan al wifi del hotel, necesitarán conectarse a una VPN para usar WhatsApp, IG o YouTube)
Se trata de una propiedad de 9 años de antigüedad, por lo que hay algunos defectos que se pueden mejorar, pero es comprensible.
Mi único comentario es sobre el restaurante de comida y bebida; solo tienen una opción de comida durante todo el día. El desayuno estaba bien, con una selección más local.
Me quedé dos noches. El primer día, había personal disponible para ayudarme y servir mi pedido de café con leche. Sin embargo, el segundo día, no vi a ningún miembro del personal de guardia, así que tuve que preparar mi propio café con leche (tuve que espumar la leche), lo que me resultó incómodo.
Ojalá el personal estuviera mejor capacitado, pero entiendo que es temporada baja y que el hotel probablemente contrató trabajadores a tiempo parcial para el servicio.
El mejor momento de mi estadía fue conocer a una señora llamada Rose He, que forma parte del equipo de servicios para huéspedes (creo). Nos recomendó lugares a los que ir e incluso nos encontró un conductor local para que nos llevara. Fue extremadamente amable y educada. Intercambiamos información por WeChat y me envió mensajes de texto cuando el clima se tornó frío o lluvioso. También nos ayudó a organizar el transporte gratuito a la estación de tren. Me sentí muy personalizada. Shangri-La, si estás leyendo esto, creo que se merece una muestra de agradecimiento. Ella es la verdadera estrella y un gran ejemplo de ”hospitalidad”.
En general, estuvimos contentos con nuestra estadía. Gracias.

Desde el momento en que llegamos a Shangri-la en tren, el conductor nos estaba esperando... nos llevó al hotel con el Defendar. El coche estaba muy, muy limpio.
¡Todas las instalaciones del hotel eran excelentes!
La arquitectura del hotel es de estilo tibetano.
Muchas de las artesanías se ven bonitas.
Desde el hotel se puede ver el templo Songtsam.
Se ofreció té, la tarta de huevo sabía deliciosa incluso en invierno.
El desayuno tenía una variedad de alimentos.
El hotel incluía la entrada al templo Songtsam, incluso proporcionó una guía gratuita para explicar durante la visita al monasterio.
El champú y la loción corporal en la habitación eran agradables de usar, especialmente en la temporada de invierno. La piel se siente muy seca. (Espero que el hotel los venda en línea)
El área del hotel era muy grande, hay muchas vistas hermosas para tomar fotografías.
