Casas antiguas, las instalaciones no pueden tener expectativas demasiado altas, las habitaciones son relativamente pequeñas. El paisaje es tan hermoso, frente al lago (Figura 1). El entorno circundante también es muy hermoso. El desayuno está incluido, el restaurante también está frente al lago y la comida definitivamente está sintonizada. Pero la ubicación es muy parcial, parece que hay que viajar en coche, los aparcamientos son muchos, gratuitos.

Simple and tidy rooms kept very clean and well maintained. Professional and welcoming staff makes you feel comfortable during your stay. Nice breakfast area and good food served. It would've been nice to have a small fridge and a kettle in the room.

Wer in Gersau übernachten möchte ist im Seehotel Rivera genau richtig. Alle Zimmer sind renoviert und sehr sauber. Man hat einen herrlichen Blick auf den See und die Zimmer verfügen über einen Balkon. Es ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um mit dem Schiff zur Rütliwiese zu kommen da der Schiffsanlegeplatz gegenüber des Hotels liegt.

Llegue a Zúrich a la 1 pm y vaya directamente a este hotel en lugar de quedarse en Lucerna. Fui a ver la mañana al monte Rigi y tuve la suerte de ver el amanecer. Tarda aproximadamente una hora, así que tienes que relajarte. (No hay tren por la mañana). La habitación en sí es realmente un motel y el resto del spa es excelente. Sensación de spa de lujo. Los precios de las habitaciones son tan caros que hay muchas habitaciones vacías en temporada alta. Se siente como un asiático que dio una mala vista (no tengo algunas vistas en esta dirección) Mesa de desayuno fuera de la ventana Otros miran hacia la ladera de la montaña. Por cierto, Rigi Mountain View se queda sin precios de hotel. Desayuno excelente Por favor, ve a ver el amanecer. Fue increíble porque no había gente en el camino. Ascendiendo, ya está ahí. Lo más impresionante durante un viaje de 7 días a Suiza

La habitación es muy pequeña, no hay aire acondicionado, no puedo dormir caliente en agosto por la noche, no hay sentido de seguridad en la puerta del balcón, me siento fría en la medianoche, cerrar la puerta del balcón se siente frío y estúpido por la noche, y todo el día está tormentando. Aunque el balcón puede ver el paisaje del lago, pero no hay aire acondicionado, el paisaje del lago no parece valer la pena.

Dreadful. We have never walked out of a hotel before but Seehof du Lac changed that. Electric flex with fuse wire to cover a cut, plug sockets with gaps around them, ripped curtains, ripped furniture, black mould in the shower and more. Although outwith the control of the hotel, the town clock strikes every 15 minutes for 24 hours. There is a band room close by and music practice goes on for hours from early to late. As for a private balcony in our ”junior suite”, it was private only in that it is accessible from your room. Ours was cheek by jowl with the large balcony of the smaller neighbouring room and tiny. The table was rusty and not very secure. There was a wasps' nest in the balcony on the floor above, just above head height. We were due to stay for 2 nights but left after 1 without even having breakfast. We had to eat at a local cafe instead. We lost hundreds of Francs as we left Switzerland and booked into a hotel in another country. In short, overpriced, outdated, less than clean. It's telling that the hotel is not mentioned anywhere as a place to eat. Despite us telling a member of staff we were leaving, the hotel had no idea we had gone and emailed saying we were due them money. Quite the reverse really as they had an extra night of tourist tax and the prize of a night of accommodation. This hotel is best avoided. We were looking forward to what was the most expensive stay of our 3 week trip but, in the end, it tainted our holiday. Switzerland will not be getting our customs again thanks to Seehof du Lac.

Such a great reassurance of Swiss Quilty renommé that is world-wide brand.... My spouse came for business reasons in the region and we chose Nidwadnerhof by internet. Indeed, position on the lake side was truely an advantage, but what convinces us is the quality of services and management that combines high professsionalism and friendly, yet not superficial way of dealing with clients. Comfort of rooms and cleaness is impecable, excellent quality of food from breakfast choice to a romantic dinner under table lights. Choice of quality wine is... divine. Excellent wines from Switzerland but also France,Italy, Spain, Portugal.... kept in best conditions in the climatized wine-cellar. It is certainly not going to be our only stay, so we say to the owners and their collaborators: see you soon.

This was a last minute booking for us and the price and location were really good before a day trip into Lucerne. Liked the location immediately, even in drizzling rain.We had a big balcony room overlooking the garden and lake.Very nice to arrive at after coming from Lake Maggiore and a long drive. The decor is fairly modern and it doesn't have charm as such but it was a quiet room with enough space. Buffet breakfast next morning was a bit of a highlight, especially since it was free and included! We never did get used to Swiss food prices during our trip. Easy to find and an easy drive into Lucerne next day.

Heidi in the breakfast serving & Michaela in the front desk made our week lovely! They where always friendly and helped us out with different requests with a smile and kindness that made us feel very welcome. The spa area is great, both indoor and outdoor. The gym has a fantastic view over the lake which made it a pleasant place to work out. We also appreciate the private area next to the sea, owned by the hotel, where you can swim in the clear sea. There are sun beds, parasols and a jetty. The Hotel also lent out SUP-boards, kayaks and bicycles for free. We also appreciated the free shuttle service. The three small things that where preventing me to give the facilities and the hotel 5 out of 5 is; 1) The lack of blackout curtains. The lights shines in, both from the street, and also from the sunrises around 6 in the morning. 2) The lack of bed mattress to soften the bed. The beds are very firm. We slept on our blankets for a whole week. 3) And lastly, the lack of AC. Our room was facing north and we got to borrow a fan, so the temperature was after all okey. But I expect that these three simple requirements would exist in the rooms of a four-star hotel.
