Chosen for its close proximity to the station, and Chur for our departure on the Glacier Express we could not have chosen better. A couple in front of us were experiencing difficulties at the self check-in but reassuringly were receiving help on the phone so when we experienced the same we were confident that we could get help and so with a little time wasted we were off to Junior Suite 3. It was huge, light and airy. Great entrance area for case, coats, storage, large bathroom with spacious shower and then the room itself with 5 full width windows across was vast offering a great view. Large sofa seating area and adjustable TV was well thought out, would suggest a coffee table beneficial. The concealed kitchen added to the comfort of the suite but with only a microwave I assume utensils and crockery are obtained from the refreshment area, as too hot water. One complimentary bottle of water was provided. No USB charge points and found only one socket our plug adaptor fitted. We did enjoy some live UK tv channels. All the facilities were immaculate with the refreshment area being spotless and offering a good selection of drinks, hot and cold, breakfast cereals, yoghurts fresh fruits breads and pastries. The staff very pleasant and doing a good job restocking and cleaning. We missed the opening hours of the nearby Coop but Avec was open 0530-2200 and was very well stocked with lots of choice. I would not hesitate to book another stay - the standard was unexpectedly above average and extremely good.

Well equipped hotel with super service! Breakfast offer is great and the staff very friendly! I will come again with pleasure! The location is great, as it is right by the highway exit. Nevertheless, you do not hear the highway. It is very quiet and idyllic. You can hike to the Heidialp in 1.5 hours or in about 45 minutes to Bad Ragaz.

Lovely grounds and cool atmosphere for a stay. While most guests do end up in one of the clusters of buildings surrounding the castle, we found our rooms to be spacious and comfortable (we were in the 30's block). The location is tucked away and relaxed, however only a short 5 min walk to the Tamina Spa and slightly over 10 mins into the little downtown area of Bad Ragaz. The included breakfast was nice and had plenty of options. The only ”gotcha” here is that everything seems to shut down very early. We enjoyed the Tamina spa until about 7 PM and then started thinking about dinner. We popped into the on-site restaurant and learned that there was only a set menu (which didn't fit our style) for $45 CHF per person. Without much choice, that seemed a bit steep so we decided to head into town (it was a Tuesday). We were a little dismayed to find that nearly everything was shut down (grocery, convenience, restaurant and even bars!). A local to the area took mercy on us and helped us find the one restaurant that was still open (and it was cute, cozy, and delicious). When we got back to hotel, we thought that maybe we'd enjoy the bar on-site for a drink (as it was only about 9 PM), but it was empty as well. I'm not sure if this is common for the area (we traveled in Oct). Great for some R&R, but lacks many options for enjoying any type of nightlife.

After few years I returned to Grand Hotel, it had been always my escape to paradise and I enjoyed it immensely. This time I was surprised by not finding the reception where it used to be, the entry to Grand Hotel was instead filled with shops and boutiques. Do you really find it necessary and profitable? I have never seen any customers in these fancy boutiques, I hated them, the hotel changed into a market, kind of upper class market with cashmere clothes and glitter junk. Not so many oligarchs any more, so what is it good for? The new design of the rooms is rather disappointing, I prefered the old, cosy beige, golden style. Anyway, Helena Bad is still the same and the staff is gentle, kind and professional. Please, get rid of these ridiculous shops and reinstall the old reception desk.

Una belle pour toute la famille! Honnêtement on voyage beaucoup et on a plutôt l’habitud des 4/5 étoiles et plus. Et on est très exigent. Celui-ci est un sans faute. Todo es perfecto, una máquina bien rodada que nos hace orgullosos de los hoteles de lujo en nuestro hermoso país. Las habitaciones / suites son espaciosas y limpias, los excelentes restaurantes, las piscinas y otros bares espaciales perfectos, el personal inmeccable, a l’écoute, sonrisa y poli. Le seul micro hic - la deco des chambres, rien d’original. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Ya hemos recomendado el hotel a amigos y envíamos a mi Belle Maman en septiembre para una pequeña semana de rehabilitación. Una vez más Bravo y una gran gracias de nosotros 4!

La habitación era muy agradable y muy limpia. El desayuno era delicioso y muchas opciones para recoger. El hotel está en una ubicación excelente. Aprox. A 10-15 minutos a pie a la estación de tren. Gracias al personal amigable, me quedaría en este hotel de nuevo!

El hotel es el primer hotel que hemos reservado en la aplicación de viajes que no se pagó por anticipado. La entrada automática se ha introducido en una máquina de entrada, introduciendo su nombre y localizando su tarjeta de reserva y insertando su tarjeta de pago. Las habitaciones están limpias con una decoración agradable con grandes ventanas que ofrecen mucha luz natural. Las camas son cómodas y nos dormimos bien, así que están en una ubicación muy buena. Tal vez demasiado bien para algunos como la mayoría de las tiendas donde se cierran. Los empleados son agradables. Las habitaciones son grandes, con balcón, máquina de nespresso en el cuarto, baño también muy grande, productos rituales, la ubicación muy central. Desafortunadamente, las camas son demasiado suaves y ligeras para nuestro sabor (se desplazan), sudoradas por el limpiador de matraces plastificado, habitaciones angulares. La desayuno no es tan aburrido. El desayuno es hasta 1030h y a las 0945h sólo había un poco de tormenta seca. Y tampoco había nada más. Speck y Cipollata todavía tenía. Oferta generalmente algo propenso a un 4-Sternehaus.

L'hôtel est situé dans un quartier très calme, bien que j'aie l'impression que Bad Ragaz ne soit pas vraiment une ville tumultueuse ;). Il faut compter un petit 1/4 d'heure à pied depuis la gare. La chambre est très spacieuse, la literie (dure) parfaite a mon goût, la salle de bain petite mais fonctionnelle. Un tout petit bémol dans la chambre, il manque un peu de place et un siège adapté pour travailler. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est à l'image du reste, très complet. Cela beau être un trois étoiles, cet hôtel est très confortable. Le rapport qualité prix est (hors saison - en octobre) excellent.
