Hodges Bay is a smaller intimate resort. The staff are very friendly and pleasant. They offered many suggestions of things to see both on and off the resort. We came in the middle of Sept which is still off season and hot. On site you have to go over to Prickly Pear Island and have a lobster roll. Off resort we would recommend English Bay and Shirley Heights (on Thurs and Sunday) very good steel band and BBQ. Our stay was lovely and the resort beautiful. This is an average hotel, somewhere around 3 stars but at a 5 star price. This fact significantly spoils the hotel's rating, because if they were a little cheaper and communicated properly, it could be a very pleasant hotel. The room is an average Caribbean room, nothing extra, worn-out equipment, e.g. shower only on the top or let's say the bathroom equipment. The doors are not card-operated, but operate with a key. The single beds are not very big, the room is not either, we asked for a sea view, we got it, but in front of it there is the pool, the restaurant, so it only partially looked at the sea. The pool is very nice in the pictures, but in real life it is average, with salt water. The hotel's own beach is after the restaurant, after all, it has everything you need, foot shower, sun loungers, etc. But the beach is not turquoise and crystal clear water, but sandy, seaweed, wavy. The cleaning lady didn't bring water the second day, of course not because the hotel is pet bottle free, there is a water purifier, go and fill up the water, which is fine, but if you left the bottle in town, you don't have anything to fill up with water, I think you should reconsider this. This would all be fine anyway, average Caribbean standard, but the check-in is slow, the hotel is a 3-star, but the price of 375 USD per night is completely unrealistic for this hotel, and that doesn't include the 50 USD per person breakfast either, so 475 USD per night for the two of us. If I add the location, I add that breakfast is 50 USD, and dinner is also about 50-100 USD. So 1 day in this hotel is 600 USD for two people, 300 USD per person, it seems quite a lot, for the quality listed above. The last time we paid this much for a hotel was in a Dominican community, but it was really on the beach, it was really 4 stars, with normal sized beds and I could list the differences. Moreover, at the evening dinner they forgot our order, we had beer, beer and after the third beer, about 1 hour after ordering, we asked where the dinner was, then they realized that they forgot, so we got the dinner an hour and a half after the first order. Which was kind of fusion, neither European, nor Caribbean, nor Italian, so it wasn't worth 100 dollars. But I could also say the breakfast, which is not a buffet but ordered, they forgot to bring one of the juices and the beans with tomatoes, we had to say so, for that reason. Anyway, the hotel would have a good atmosphere, it would be a pleasant Caribbean hotel where I would gladly spend my time in the morning and evening, then have 1-2 drinks at the bar, but not for this much, the amount we left there is completely unrealistic.

Had a fantastic stay at the Cortsland Hotel. I stayed there for two nights at the beginning and end of my holiday for easy transfers to the airport. The first room I stayed in had a patio with seating. Rooms have ironing board and iron. Kettle with teas, coffee etc. The room was a fantastic size and bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was superb. The second room I stayed in had a kitchen that was accessed through glass sliding doors. Washing up liquid supplied. Extensive range of crockery and utensils. This room was massive. The hotel is immaculate. Pool is large with seating and comfortable loungers. I had this area to myself during my stay. All hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. On arrival I was too late for dinner. Emily ordered me a pizza and drove me to collect this. I only ate breakfast here. It was a buffet breakfast and had fruit, orange juice, cereals, teas and coffee on offer. The hot choices included scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and herb potatoes. There is a bar near the hotel offering food and drinks that can be accessed from the back gate of the hotel. The gardens are well maintained and extensive. I also ran out of cigarettes during my final stay. Hazel, the hotel owner, personally drove me to the supermarket to buy these. Shout out to Donny and Kella who made me feel welcome. I stayed here myself and felt incredibly safe. The bar was not open but drinks could be ordered at the reception. I would highly recommend this hotel. Customer service was second to none.

Buenos días, los hongos y las verduras son deliciosos, muchas variedades, la fruta y el mango son súper dulces, tres jugos diferentes, dos leches diferentes (completas y bajas en grasa); el hotel tiene tres piscinas, una playa, y la playa tiene sus propios deportes acuáticos, playas limpias, europeos y estadounidenses no vieron chinos. El hotel cuenta con un personal chino (graduado del Departamento de China de la Universidad de Xiamen) llamado Shi Lisi, que nos ha ayudado mucho. ¡Qué joya de un lugar!! Mi hija y yo nos quedamos aquí por 2 noches, antes de embarcar en un crucero, y fue sorprendente aquí. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado. - Una noche tuvimos **** pollo con arroz de coco y plantas fritas, y fue delicioso. El desayuno también era lindo, con frutas frescas, tostadas y marmalades de casa, pero con la opción de huevos o omeletas si fuera necesario.
