Very nice stay in this house that has an astonishing deco (very motley) but nice room, good beds, impeccable bathroom, and the service is efficient, with a smile Breakfasts are very well prepared Good location We will come back without an hesitation

Lovely looking house and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Our room (Room 3 Butler) was disappointing as on the the ground floor off the main reception area sandwiched between the ladies and gents toilets. Bathroom and shower were good but room was small and dark with no table and chair to work from. Noisy during the night as water pipes disturbed sleep.

Charming, luxurious and boutique room, we loved everything about it. Hot tub was a cherry on the top, well-selected minibar was a perfection, breakfast was just soooo good and we couldn't stop thinking about it. Their dinner was even better- serves a 4-course tasting experiences at their beautiful restaurant. Make sure you try it!

Beautifully decorated however do not have dinner in the restaurant, it was awful. The food was bland, obscure and not worth the $85 per head. Spoilt our 25th wedding anniversary, go somewhere else to eat.

This recently refurbished and modernised historic manor house is a true delight and hard to find in a bustling central city location. It oozes real charm and character with its many retained historical features and lovely calming ambiance throughout all of the public rooms. We stayed in the Eliza's room which is a large suite with stunning bay window and beautiful decor. Great amenities on offer and some lovely extra touches not usually found in the more contemporary establishments. We enjoyed some friendly, personalised hospitality from well-trained, interested and experienced international staff who clearly enjoy their work. The meal offerings are a true delight with quality fare in everything that we tried. Would highly recommend this place to the discerning client who prefers comfortable and interesting accommodation with privacy, high-quality meals available, and service delivered efficiently at a reasonable price.

Had the most amazing stay at Elizas Manor on Mother’s Day. The staff were very professional when checking in to serving drinks and meals. The room was very comfortable and well stocked with drinks and snacks which were complimentary. I didn’t want to leave! Will definitely return when we visit Christchurch again.
