Chongqing Gangli Hotel (Nanping Convention and Exhibition Center Branch)

The hotel is not bad, it is very close to the metro. The hotel rooms are located on fairly high floors, so there is an interesting view. The reception desk is open 24 hours a day, there is a shop on the first floor of the building, you can always buy something for yourself. Although the building is quite old and dirty and the room doesn't look new, it was clean and nothing to complain about, especially for the price. Cleaned every day, the room has a refrigerator and everything you need. It's quiet enough outside at night.

The hotel is a large apartment building with about 25 floors of residential rooms / apartments and two working elevators. It was convenient to have noodle shops and convenience stores just downstairs. Look out for a sign that has OYO outside as it doesn't say Conrad Hotel. Line 3 metro Gong Mao Station exit 4 is a 5 minutes walk away. Be prepared to wait a while for the elevators to come as every time I've gotten on, it stopped at nearly every other floor since there were only 2 elevators. One day, one of the two elevators was out of service and I've contemplated taking the stairs to the 18th floor where my room was. all might. Be warned that the rooms are older and looks visibly worn. I'd booked a non-smoking room but was given one that had an ashtray and cigarettes for sale. I had to sleep with the window opened so that I wouldn't choke on the cigarette smells all night.

The pictures were not accurate, the place was old. The place was ok but not really as they show in trip.

Front desk took a while to finish my check in with not good face room is a little old and curtains are full with dust there were dead cockroaches in the bathroom .

The hotel building and hotel rooms need lots of maintenance. Cleanliness is another issue. There are cockroaches in bathroom and kitchen sink area.
