The Ancient Buddha School Homestay

A village primary school that serves as a witness to history has been filled with the sounds of children reading for half a century. Over time, as the river of history flowed and rural education improved, the village primary school was left as a neglected and dilapidated building. However, with the arrival of the spring breeze of the new era, we sought a place to preserve the innocence that has passed and the memories of the past. We preserved the weathered blackboard, wooden window frames, wooden desks and benches, and the old narra tree in its entirety. We converted the classrooms into rooms, allowing each occupant to experience the memories of the school. As the bell of the Dazu Stone Carvings rings, every journey becomes a form of spiritual practice.
