Vila Iris

Good location, service and price. Clean room, breakfast available. Very close to international airport. I was satisfied with provided service. Recommend for short overnight stay in Chisinau. Andy’s restaurant on opposite side of the boulevard.

So this place is not in the heart of Chisinau. It is on Dacia Boulevard. However it has a great location. From here you can walk to Andy's a 5 star good resteraunt we ate there maybe eight times. Also a huge Linella, grocery store and currency exchange is across the road. We would buy our water, snacks, and sunscreen there and exchange euros there. Also there is an OTP Bank ATM right next to Villa Iris which was super easy to use. You can easily also walk to an amazing bakery Vanille and the Botanical Garden Park. However the great amazing stuff is only a $5 cab ride away. They'd charge us maybe 30-70 lei and we would just always leave the 100 lei bill as a tip. The places Im talking about are: Stephen Cel Mare Park, Cathedral Park, Museum of History, Valea Morilor Park, and the Dendrarium Park. The breakfast at Villa Iris is free but not great but if you want great just walk across the street to Andy's. The front desk worker Nina is amazing she will help with any question and she is very good with English. They also offer affordable laundry services to guests. They could use more house keepers I think they have one very busy lady cleaning all the rooms and they should hire more cleaners. The mattress was a very firm mattress in the room we were in. Nina their front desk worker is one of the best I've ever seen in the business. Also as a travel tip install Go Yandex or Itaxi on your phone and also check out Show Me Around local tour guide website. We hired a lady thru there and she drove us outside of Chisinau to the rural areas on two separate day trips very nice.
