Fabulous stay at The Fox a very beautifully decorated, comfortable room with everything you need. Super breakfast plenty of choice and home cooked. We had dinner too best steak pie ever! X Atmosphere lovely and welcoming x 100% coming back x

The Fox, is set in a superb central location for all the local amenities including Diddly Squat Farm which is why we chose the Fox. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the friendliest staff. The room was lovely and clean with all the things we need for a short stay in Chipping Norton. On the first evening i had Burger and chips which had the most amazing flavour of char grill. My Wife had Fish and Chips which also came with mushy peas, curry and tartare sauce. The breakfasts here are really good with a great selection included. It's lovely to stay in a warm friendly and cozy place like the Fox. On the last night which just so happened to be wine night which gives you a 15% discount on all wines, we had Olives for starter and followed by a Buddha Bowl for my wife, which was so tasty, and I had the Beef shortrib pie. Wow that was so tasty. We followed this with the cheeseboard. Again the service was friendly and efficient. We would both recommend staying here for a lovely relaxing break.

Fantastic Hotel 6 stars!! The best hotel I have stayed at in the uk. Hotel room was five star, food was fantastic, drinks were superb. The service from the hotel was superb and the food was fantastic we had one dinner and two breakfasts and a lovely stay. When the room was booked there was an issue with the rate and the man who sorted the whole thing out was Arnold so huge thanks to him and all the team at the hotel for a fantastic stay. We will be back a family member lives in the local area so it was the perfect location. Thanks again for a personable stay and for going the extra mile. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a lovely few days we will be back.

Absolutely outstanding. Me and my partner both had the duo roast dinners and it was to die for. The staff were welcoming and friendly the mojito cocktails were delicious. Definitely recommend will 100% visit again when coming to the cotswolds

Been here before but this was rhe first time I'd stayed. The room itself was decent enough, but the bathroom was a bit small. Decent muffin for breakfast, though I must say the lager I had the night before was flat.

Very friendly staff and good food. The pub itself was lovely. The room was nice, but I would not stay again. It was in the beer garden, a metre from a table of people who were talking loudly and enjoying their evening. In the morning the staff were in early in the kitchen which again is basically in the room. None of it was excessive noise for a pub, but it means that if you are in the garden rooms, you may as well be sleeping in a Dorm. It may be very different in a room over the main bar. So I would eat and visit but stay somewhere else next time.

What a great place. A true gem. Stayed for the night in a lovely, comfortable and well equipped room. Greeted by the owner Ben who was present throughout. Enjoyed a quality home made 3 course dinner (plus cocktails ) Breakfast was one of tge best that I've had. Love to see good people putting love and dedication into what they do. Staff were spot on. Well done guys.

After being for drinks one evening we decided to have a meal the following evening and we weren’t disappointed. Staff friendly and welcoming both nights, nothing too much trouble. Food good with a selection of pub classics ( selection of burgers, fish n chips, pie) competitively priced.

The service was excellent, enthusiastic and friendly. In the main the food was good. However The Fox needs to rethink its offering of Fish and Chips. This dish was not good. The chef needs to come up North and see what proper fish and chips is like. Soft Southern David Cameron Fish and Chips is not up to scratch.
