The good points first .... let's be positive. Free parking and a friendly welcome, so far so good. Brewers Fayre next door clean, friendly staff and good servoce. Nice food breakfast and dinner. Tick. Ok, so here goes. My ground floor room (24) was right in the rear corner of the building, so a long hike from reception and west-facing so heats like an oven in the afternoon. Big laminated notice on the bed announcing that there's no aircon, and the window only opens a crack. Because of the heat, they've helpfully packed the duvet away under the bed and just left its cover on top. Ok so far. Just about. However, you then discover the wifi download speed is 1.1 Mbps which means no usable internet, and no connection whatsoever in the restaurant. Have a shower instead you say, but the shower-head won't adjust for height or angle so just squirts straight downwards. Paitwork in the bathroom is scuffed and tired. Finally, and best of all, when you wake up feeling chilly in the small hours and pull out the duvet, you find a lovely great brown urine patch right in the middle! Now we know why they hid it under the bed! Premier Inn, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Everyone else, AVOID!
