In a great area with access to beaches and both Chichester and it's harbour nearby. Easy to find but on noisy road. We found no real welcome, not even being shown into our room and the breakfast being dumped outside our door. We had the impression that the hosts appeared frightened to see us as they only communicated by text and we had less contact with them than with hosts elsewhere during the height of Covid! We felt that the continental breakfast offered was poor with no variety over the 2 days we stayed with the rolls squashed and looking straight out of local supermarket. Our toast was cold and the butter unspreadable. Our (Garden) Room had plenty of space but there were lots of do's and don'ts instructions on cards - "if you sit in the garden, sit here" etc. etc. Given the locality, and the convenience of the passing bus service, we were disappointed that there were no local history books, walk guides or bus timetables for us to use. So a nice area, which we enjoyed in sunshine, but we were not impressed by the hospitality offered at Linden House.
