Esta es la peor habitación en la que hemos estado. Nos quejamos de la habitación de la que nos pusieron en primer lugar y nos movieron a otra que se nos dijo que había sido renovada, pero la única ”renovación” fue que había sido pintada una pared para cubrir la moldea. la pintura moldeada, desnuda y peeling, muros sucios, muebles rotos viejos, pintura en el tapete y cubierta de la ducha roscada. El baño se derramó, no había extracción en el baño y la luz sobre-sench no funcionaba. La habitación no había sido limpia antes de La habitación de la habitación era muy buena, pero no era muy buena. No se puede mover en otro lugar porque la ciudad estaba muy ocupada debido a que era el fin de semana de la Revival de Goodwood, pero no habríamos permanecido allí si hubiera alojamiento alternativo. La única buena cosa sobre el lugar, excepto el personal, es la ubicación que es muy central.

The hotel experience did not entirely match our expectations. The mattress in the room was very soft with no little support and did not appear to be the sprung quality expected of a 4 star hotel. The hotel had no alternative and a topper had to be added as a partial solution. We ate in the Butcher Farm Chef restaurant on our first evening and found it extremely disappointing. The table we sat at was essentially a home made divided shelving box with scratched glass top, with dirty clock pieces housed in it, with a taxidermist pigeon watching over us! The pork chop had not been trimmed and the sauce was too rich, whilst my vegetarian Wellington was soggy and half my plate was covered microwaved kale. When we mentioned this to our waitress, we were informed that the Chef said he was sorry, but nothing further was done to redress our unhappiness with the meal, as they said we had eaten it! The cost of the meal was equivalent to eating a 3 course meal at a superior restaurant. We did find that the breakfast was good, albeit our scrambled eggs had to be returned as they were undercooked. We swam twice a day in the Health Club pool, which was invariably very busy, with no circular lane system in place to ensure safe swimming and avoid everyone trying to swim up and down in their own lane in a crowded pool. We, as hotel guests staying for 3 days, were also expected to collect a health club card each day and leave our hotel key card. As the walk from the pool to the front health club reception desk is quite a walk down a cold draughty corridor, this is most unpleasant post swim in a robe with wet costume, prior to returning to one's room. Other hotels hand out a health club pass for the length of your stay. We enjoyed our stay in the area, but felt that the hotel did not meet expectations on a number of accounts, including the maintenance of the building (damp corridor by superior rooms and worn stair carpets).

We had a lovely welcome from the moment we stepped in the door. Julie was great, ensuring we entered our car registration number for the car park, providing us with two keys, and explaining how we'd need our key to access the front door after 10pm. She couldn't have been more helpful, checking with us later ,when we went out, that everything was okay with the room. And this was all delivered with a smile whilst being professional and efficient. The room was very clean, as was the whole hotel, and modern. We enjoyed a great night's sleep in the very comfortable bed. All in all a good experience and we'll be staying again.

I promised the landlord I would post a review apologies it’s taken a while. I was taking part in a track day session at nearby Goodwood Circuit the next day so the location was ideal. The host was really accommodating in that I explained I would not be arriving until 10pm and needed breakfast bang on 7.00 to get to Goodwood for driver briefing at the track. Wonderful location and had I not already eaten would have definitely eaten in the restaurant. Thankfully the pub was open and full of friendly locals. The room was ideal, spacious and quiet and had a great nights sleep. Nothing was too much trouble special mention must go to the lovely woman who served breakfast the next day. Will definitely be back thank you

Whistle stop over night stay while working at Goodwood Revival so late check-in and early departure. As a result didn't get to sample all the services but had a decent meal and a good nights sleep. Bathroom could do with a refresh as shower curtain rail was rusty and the grouting around tiles was old and grubby. Room was clean though and way better than the Travelodge in Chichester.. but then this was an additional £100 per night.
