Watching the sea of clouds, sunset, sunrise, hiking along Mianyue line, and walking on the routes of the Forest Recreation Area at or from this Hotel, very likely is your best choice when visiting Alishan National Forest Recreation Area.

The reception during check-in was not friendly as other Taiwan hotels. Especially for Alishan hotels, most of them are really nice and helpful to answer questions but the lady we encountered was impatient to answer my questions.

Only bad hotel we’ve stayed at in Taiwan. Not entirely obvious when booking but the hotel is located about a mile into the park with no car access. You’re stuck relying on the hotel shuttle which runs infrequently on an inexplicable schedule. The staff was abysmal - one desk clerk directly lied to us about the bus schedule, leading us to almost miss our train home. Everywhere else we’ve been in Taiwan, people have been wonderful. Speaking with the staff here was like talking to a brick wall. Would be a lovely hotel under better management.

The location of this hotel is great. It is a small walking distance to the train station to catch sun rise. If you are driving to Alisan, you will need to park near the visitor center and take a shuttle bus to the hotel. You may need to note on the last bus from visitor center to hotel else you need to walk quite a distance into the hotel. There is no restaurant in the hotel so you need to settle your meals outside of the hotel.

The hotel is in bug space and the location is convenient. Although the hotel is not close with food street but they provide shuttle for customer. Additional, it was walking distance to the train station and Attraction area.

very good and clean hotel, the view was so nice and bed is excellent.. the room and bathroom smell is very fragrance and fresh. will definitely stay here again next trip.

We have a great time staying in the quad room though there were only 2 of us! The price is worth it. Due to cloudy conditions (raining almost everyday!) we didn’t get to see sunrise nor sea of clouds. 😭

The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. If you get food from 7-11 or restaurant, you can bring it back. There's a common area (in the lobby) for you to eat.
