I have NEVER in my life left a accommodation that I booked before - I checked out of this place within 30 mins after checking in.. didn't stay a minute longer - as soon as I saw the state of this mud hut I immediately booked a ride back into town to find a different hotel.
This guesthouse is in the middle of nowhere, far from civilization.
Don't let the pictures online fool you.. the rooms, toilets / shower, hallway, lobby, etc. are completely PITCH BLACK.. can't see anything without the light on.. even with light it's still super dark. There are mosquitoes swarming everywhere in this old cottage house / wooden ramshack hut.. completely unlivable - looks like a rundown shack out in the village, deplorable condition.
The toilet / shower rooms are tiny and not very clean. The room itself had a musty smell, not sure if it was mold or something else. Covers didn't look clean either. There wasn't even a towel in the room.. no soap, toothpaste, shower gel, slippers, etc. There are no room keys here, instead they use large heavy padlocks.. absolutely insanity like a farmhouse.
Thankfully I only paid 499 Bhat for one night only and not a penny more. But still, it's 499 too much.. could've used that money on some good food.
I swear I was completely shocked at the condition of the entire place. The Indian owner was nice and polite, but I don't recommend staying here.. better to sleep on a park bench in the park.
You can get nice hotel rooms for around 800 Bhat or less smack dab in the middle of the city, close to the markets and everything else. The negative feedback here is justified unfortunately. One of the worst accommodations I have ever seen in my life.
